Yeah I know Blyth made the penalty save but I'm not on about that, I'm talkingNo mate... Jim Blythe saved a penalty very, very late on to keep the score at City 5-4 Norwich
I was there, but I honestly don't remember anything up on the scoreboard, or any Wallace overhead kick.So WAS the Ian Wallace goal a "spectacular " overhead kick.
Did the display on the scoreboard say 5 - 5 . Or was it "oh no"
I don't remember reading the campaign's core objective as being that, but I do agree CCFC should be the leading club in the City. Unfortunately, the owners have done precious little to defend this position. I didn't want Wasps here and I'd still rather they fucked off, but they're not going to, so SISU and the board need to act.
I don't recall SISU doing anything to buy the stadium legitimately, no. This is proven in a court on more than one occasion.
I've made comments to other threads, but on this one, I asked a genuine question as I honestly didn't see the point. As for promises being broken, you must know all the facts about that now Grendel surely as there have been plenty.
Les Reid getting sacked: I don't recall the detail, but I don't recall a court case or tribunal where someone decided him leaving was 'unfair'. If there is one and it was officially 'unfair', please enlighten me. I used to enjoy the detail in Les' stories in the CET as at the time, not many were providing the analysis he was. When he popped up on the Observer, his narrative changed.
I was 7 and there with Dad & Bro sat in the sky blue stand , remember theI was there, but I honestly don't remember anything up on the scoreboard, or any Wallace overhead kick.
I just remember it being a great game and Blyth saving that penalty.
Best of all, it was Boxing Day so made it the perfect Christmas present.
Thanks - I hadn't seen that before.

NO NO NO For the 1.646th time no. :bag:Yeah, but this of course was Boxing Day itself wasn't it.

They must have been reading this as now they've published the below. To put into English what the CT didn't manage - There is no specific target for this - the intention is to show to those who have it within their remit to save the academy, and keep it going, that the fans care. If the powers that be think that fans don't care and won't kick up a fuss they will do as they please and stuff the few objectors. This is aimed at CCFC, CSF, Wasps and indirectly CCC. It is not about allocating blame or finger pointing or digging up history but about forcing those who can to come up with a workable solution for the future of the academy. All parties have been spoken too by the Trust and all have said its important and they are willing to work together but as ever actions speak louder than words. Personally I feel that 1000 signatures isn't great - the CT covered it briefly and the Cov Observer have for whatever reason ignored it altogether. Maybe supporters don't quite grasp the seriousness of the situation and its consequences for the future of our club?
At least they are promoting it. The CT doing fuck all as usual. They must have been reading this as now they've published the below.

But you're not biased at all are you?Yes they really are pro the football club aren't they.
But you're not biased at all are you?
There's dirty linen in everyone's basket here Grendel and I know for a fact the senior people at the CET aren't without their faults either. That's not point of this thread and having accused me of an 'agenda', it's interesting you now want to talk about them.
Were you a sleeper?
I guess by that you're implying that I'm not. I've signed it and asked a genuine question about who it will be delivered to and what actions we expect. That's the normal thing to do with a petition and that appears to be missing on this one. For asking that question, I've been told to fuck off, called a tosser and a Wasps plant when all I really want is the same as everyone else. Many Thanks Tommy
At least some people are genuinely concerned about our future and keeping the thread on subject.
Why would you assume that? I would assume he was having a go at people talking about a certain game years ago and having tantrums about what day it was on. But that wouldn't have happened if the chief decision maker of who is and who isn't a fan dadnt used one of his tried and tested diversionary tactics.I guess by that you're implying that I'm not. Fair point. I'm new here but I think I know who they might mean now!

Yes - I don't remember ever signing up, but Google autofill did. First post last Thursday. You've been a member for 3 years.
I've added my moniker
Maybe because the telegraph have blanked it or maybe because the Trust have backed it.Petition aside what I want to know is why the club has now gone quiet on the academy issue I only hope it's because the parties are talking. Then again it is holiday time probably more important to get a tan.
Some are doing it for them but some aren't interestedMaybe because the telegraph have blanked it or maybe because the Trust have backed it.
The owners are always waiting for someone to do it all for them, to them it is just another commodity in their portfolio of fuck ups...........
In answer to your questionsHave there been any recent meetings held or arranged/planned between CCFC/CSF/Wasps to discuss this? if so what happened? Are all sides willing to hold face to face talks to progress a solution (if there is one)?
Are the Trust able to find that out or even arrange dates/venues?
releasing the new away kit silly!Petition aside what I want to know is why the club has now gone quiet on the academy issue I only hope it's because the parties are talking. Then again it is holiday time probably more important to get a tan.
