I want to know if the trust are putting any pressure on the council to find a suitable location within the boundaries of Cov so CCFC don't have to leave the city if tinpot arena did actually happen?

Steve has already said he wont follow ccfc if a stadium is built outside the boundaries, so maybe the trust in their position can do something about keeping us in Cov

Perhaps they might if our owners shared a convincing business case with them.

i think you will find its a response to the Mr Fish,,, sorry SCG certain members that represent themselves statement.

So was it neccesary to release to the general public? A private letter perhaps....

So I get it... criticise a group for their actions... by doing exactly the same.

Yes ok,one group of people who support the actions of the owners to the detriment of the club and its ever dwindling fans can say what they like in public regarding a group of fans, who then send a private letter in response. Hate the trust as much as you like, which you obviously do but yes I use the word but they have never sold out CCFC.

Someone in the future with a convincing business case might get off to a more efficient start with the club, if a site or two are already in the pipeline.

You miss the point....SISU have done a shit job, does that mean every person connected has free rein to do whatever they like, as we can always compare it to SISU's failings.

What is so difficult in the idea of modelling how you want the club to behave... instead of stooping to their level.

Hold up a moment.

I confess to finding the inconsistencies frustrating at times.

Some things are excellent; the series of questions directed at SISU for one, the Q&A between the Trust and club/ACL when all this kicked off being another.

I also appreciared the questions directed at CCC/Higgs for selling ACL to Wasps too (the follow-up to the request for a formal consultation process was particularly effective), and even the ones challenging Wasps on the 'need' to move a sporting club into the city too.

These series of questions are what I'd love to see more of.

No I get your point I've always got your points,oh and talking about free rein, the people who are questioning the trust are the very same people who wanted the trust off the SCG which is ironic considering the SCG was initialy a trust initiative. So these people can say what they want and the trust have no right of reply. Great well lets just watch this club die without a whimper shall we,ah wait that happening already.

Same could also be said about any potential new owners. If they reveal themselves and their plans, we can all get behind it and put more pressure on

You're talking about "potential new owners".

i was talking about our current owners who claim to have been working towards building a new stadium (it is after all, vital to the business model) for a couple of years now.

is it really that unreasonable to expect a robust and viable business plan to be in place by now?

The statement is regretful and the Trust seem unfortunately incurious about getting to the facts.

What was wrong with the Administration process? The club were able to appoint their own administrator and credibility was lost from the outset. An inquiry by the regular auditors is absolutely not preferable to an inquiry led by someone appointed by the Local Government Authority or someone from the Local Govt Ombudsman.

If nothing else a credible inquiry might exonerate the council of an suspicion no?

Yes and then you can all come on here and say the trust are keeping things to themselves can't win really can they.

That doesn't really make sense to me. If someone from the CET phones up someone from the Trust and says, "What does the Trust think about these calls for a public enquiry?", the reasonable response (to me at least) would be "We haven't had a chance to discuss it properly with our members yet". It wouldn't be unfair to add something along the lines of, "Regardless, we don't want it to distract from SISU's piss-poor performance as owners" since clearly they've got some sort of mandate for that.

As it stands, I'm sticking to my point, this wasn't a statement that needed to be made - and supporting the club doesn't necessarily mean that the trust needs to support either the Council or Wasps at every step of the way.

Course you are then you could rape them for not having an opinion and not sharing

Is that seriously the best argument you've got? They just had to make a statement or someone might have complained. Then why bother with the vote to demand SISU's removal?

'Rape' is an absolutely piss-poor choice of word by the way.
