Anyone got an odd ticket for Plymouth game.
I'm going to see daughter next weekend in Cornwall was willing to sit on my hand in the Plymouth end. When my Daughter tried to book me a ticket (useing her home address) we were told to get one you had to be registered before June last year obviously don't want to do business.

I’m after a couple of tickets for the Plymouth game too if anyone has spares. They won’t even sell hospitality tickets if you registered after the start of the season. Odd.

They don’t need to look for business, they sell out just about every home game. The home tickets for the game against us was sold out on March 31. Same for hospitality, which another poster has mentioned. Fairly small ground.

Therefore, with regards to my previous post, I would be grateful for a ticket if someone has one available, as I am on holiday in Cornwall, a short drive away.🙏🤞

Up to a few days ago there were still quite a few seats probably in three figures all be it odd ones for sale. There were even seats in the block on the halfway line.
I could have been someone wanting to go to their first game and a rule like that could kill the possibility of a fan for life.

Could you head into the ticket office when you get down there and ask if they could sell you a ticket (if not sold out)? Just saying you haven't been before and would like to catch a game.

My daughter was going to do that for me but in the meantime I obtained 1 in the city end from a fellow supporter.Won't have to sit on my hands now.
I just find it strange that these clubs turn away people who want to give them money. Extra money they get from people like me could help keep them stay afloat or even help buy a better player.

I guess it's the potential for trouble and the costs that could entail, be it fines or even being forced to pay for extra security/policing in future games because of an incident.

Even though it may well be that the person buying isn't intending to be trouble (or at least isn't stupid enough to do it surrounded by thousands of opposition fans), but there is always the chance there will be dickheads in the home support who would start on them, especially if they've had a few and the 'tribe' instinct kicks in.

Of course you may well say "I'm not going to cause trouble", or wear team colours and will keep quiet and not celebrate if we score etc., but they can't make that assumption. There are people who are dickheads or stupid (or both) that wouldn't, and it only takes one to end up costing the club more money than they make from the ticket sale. Even I've found myself inadvertently getting excited when we've scored while in an away end even though I was trying really hard to not bring attention to myself.

Still after two tickets for me and my kid if anyone has any going spare, I’ll even buy you several beers and promise not to talk to you at any point during the game.

Sky Blue Dreamer. My daughter tried to buy tickets at the ground , giving her own address to be told her registration had to have been made before June last year to get them. It was a person living locally buying tickets to watch Plymouth play you had to registered for nearly a year to do it.Crazy.

I’ve asked the club that doesn’t seem sensible

why? as I have said we have done the same and what does CCFC have to Plymouth's ticketing policy? Also what can CCFC do, they can't complain to Plymouth they won't sell a city fan a ticket when away fans are not meant to be in the home stands?

I misunderstood I thought it was our ticket office not selling to someone who didn’t have an account
