Although your credit will add up, the bookies bit is seperate so it will show who has won the most in the bookies

Also guessing in custom bets the 'bookies' keep lost bet stakes (so if i set up harry Kane 1st scorer bet, someone placed it and it lost i kept their stake) if any of this makes any sense haha.

Sportsbook is betting against the bookies (the house). This is where Nick will set up the important bets (Coventry games win/lose/draw) and probably England WC games.
The Exchange is where members can bet against other members on anything. (You can create your own title - I would suggest starting it with "I bet that abc happens" so people don't get confused.
The exchange is more when people are bickering, they can put a bet onNice one, didnt even notice the exchange section. Wouldnt complicate it by setting my own bets up, was just curious of the process.
