So it seems reading this that sisu are looking for a way out. Attacking Steve as fisher did shows some degree of panic.
My point is clearly Steve and the trust don't have the funds and have no base for a ccfc takeover but fisher didn't say the club isn't for sale did he? He didn't say do one? He said basically is this a joke?
Meaning he wouldn't mind a serious offer if someone would stop wasting his time and joys of course.
I agree with the ct comments he made. They arent always factually true and it's medicorce reporting at kindest level. The headline was sisu says "we are not for sale" I've not seen that comment once. I saw it 3 years ago when we moved to Northampton but no such thing this time? Why? They are looking for a way out. A line has to be drawn somewhere and it's here.
No one will talk to sisu and deal with them. With an agreement over next season they are left with no where to turn. Give them a real option and offer and they will jump at it for sure.
Also I still don't buy the guff about NOPM not hurting sisu. How? It's crazy to suggest so. By giving ccfc no money makes their investment/business worthless and untenable. Yes it's destroys ccfc of course that much is true but to say it doesn't hurt sisu is nonsense. Not sure if I agree with it but that's people's rational to it and it would work. That's what sisu have made it for some fans. Sad isn't it?

I love the bit near the end, " and now for positive news on the club" , we have 133,000 likes on Facebook the sixth best in the league.
So there you are ,at last all our troubles are in the past and we can all have a good nights sleep.
It's all over lads a bright new future is all in front of us, we haven't a stadium ,are bottom of league 1 ,and may lose our academy and training ground but bye gum we have 130,000 people who like us on Facebook.
What the fuck have we been moaning at for the last five years, shame on us
I think when people say will it damage SISU, it is more along the lines of if CCFC go under tomorrow, is Joy going to be living out of a Formula 1 hotel?
Naive to think that. As olderskyblue pointed out earlier, they've done this before!
So either they've been looking for a way out and are in panic for a year or three now, or it's just business as usual.
Also says we have 1200 JSB members, do they all get a season ticket? So our 5000 ST holders are actually 30+% of kids?

[ QUOTE ] TF's points were well made and it's hard to disagree that protesting has an affect on the club both in terms of revenue and morale. My reading of the minutes is that TF went at SBR immediately and with an agenda that was to be belligerent. I have no idea whether that it was warranted or not by previous activity by SBR.I can understand why SBR felt isolated as a minority as he was certainly not supported by the other attendees.
Once on to the actual content of the meeting I thought TF's points were well made and it is hard to disagree that protesting has an affect on the team both in terms of revenue and morale and it ould be better if the fans got behind the team in the stadium. Also I accept that he has made the club self sufficient and one day he may take and get credit for that and will deserve it after the club has been hemorrhaging money for so long with few controls.
In separating SISU from CCFC and saying he has no influence tells us all we need to know about how CCFC and indeed TF are perceived by SISU. Not a high priority.
Amid all of those discussions over the rent and income streams CA undertook, the Idea of a sale to Wasp's must have been broached
Or a stake in the club in return for streams/Co investment etc
I know a very learned poster on here has given reasons why that is Ludicrous
But at some point one or other party must have considered it at an exploratory level.
Or am I mental?

Not gonna happen. OSB has explained reasons on a number of occasions, butAmid all of those discussions over the rent and income streams CA undertook, the Idea of a sale to Wasp's must have been broached

Didn't see lots of abuse being given out at the end. Those who stayed until the players came over gave them a clap.I don't think fans shouting SIsu out will be the reason the team goes down. What I didn't like at the end of the game on Saturday, were those fans who gave the team loads of abuse when they came over to clap the fans (which tells it own story on how much the protests affected the team,). The players did their best,it just isn't good enough.
What I don't understand is - from what we know - is how the Trust can make an offer to discuss control of a multi million pound in running costs business, to a seasoned City investment fund owner and not have filed accounts, have a director of another club on board and not even mark their offer as 'private and confidential'. Don't they check their important moves with a legal person or an accountant?
The first thing Joy needs to know before answering the letter is whether or not she is dealing with serious people. Obviously not.
No money, no accounts and maybe breaking EFL rules - ironically all problems associated with CCFC under her ( indirect) rule in the past. Exactly the points the Trust was set up to criticize.
Being fans is not a free pass to avoid criticism and, not on it's own, a reason to own a football club.
I agree with protests attracting attention though - the noise may even alert a potential buyer. This could be in SISU's own interest as a way out. Long shot, but the status quo has to be broken for the fans and for SISU.
If the club is breaking even (Evidently?) then the income will match the outgoings.
If the club has no assets and the debt is with the owners then there is nothing to pay.
All Sisu need to do is take the loss, keep the Ryton money and piss off.
Give someone else a chance,
Yes vice chair and she has missed 3 in a row I believe, the rules mean she should be thrown off the committee.
Is TF right that the Trust haven't handed in their accounts for 3 years? If so, that is really unprofessional.
As others have found you get into bed with these people and you sufferGarlick probably can't afford the taxi fare to the meeting now that she's been declared bankrupt.
Ccfc and wasps. Sisu don't have to have any part of it, they may be our owners but they are a completely different and distinct company. I imaging ccfc would be keep to talk, it's wasps who are refusing.
Sisu aren't going to drop the legals, like TF said its nothing the club can influence and imo it's a red herring wasps are conveniently using, because they know how us fans feel about thr legal action and sisu.
I'll leave it at that, we'll just go around in circles.

The brass balls on Fisher having a dig at filing accounts - how many transfer embargo's have we had?
Were they offering to buy the club,no. Secondly when Portsmouth fans took over the club do you think they had noney beforehand no they raised it so you don't actually have to have the money. But this wasn't about buying the club ur was to have talks re the selling of the club. Also who is this director of another club? What I don't understand is - from what we know - is how the Trust can make an offer to discuss control of a multi million pound in running costs business, to a seasoned City investment fund owner and not have filed accounts, have a director of another club on board and not even mark their offer as 'private and confidential'. Big difference was Portsmouth Trust were buying the club out of administration and the FL had stated they would not issue the golden share to anyone other than the trust.Secondly when Portsmouth fans took over the club do you think they had noney beforehand no they raised it so you don't actually have to have the money.
What was the offer?
Ignore that bitDidn't he just say there wasn't an offer?
For the record and it is really important – you have sent a letter to SISU to offer to take control of the club
All I was saying that just because you haven't got the money you can get it not that I think the trust would want to buy it. However if they knew a ball park serious figure at least it woul d be a start in trying to attract some investment. Mind you like yourself I have not seen this letter or know what it says.Big difference was Portsmouth Trust were buying the club out of administration and the FL had stated they would not issue the golden share to anyone other than the trust.
That's before you consider they are a minority shareholder, had a 7 figure loan from the local council and sold their car park to a developer to build a huge Tesco store on.
As I have just posted I haven't seen the letter or know what it saysIt's all hush hush, just wondered what was offered in the letter.
But surely anybody with eyes could see it is being done just to go to the telegraph with and try to twist against them? Why would they even entertain it?All I was saying that just because you haven't got the money you can get it not that I think the trust would want to buy it. The offer of a meeting was rejected it seems did the trust go running to the telegraph? No how did you get to hear about it? Oh yes Mr Fisher told everyone about it. So for a change drip this silly little conspiracy whatever crap you have
