He's been class in the qualifiers, probably our best player. Coming from someone who has knocked in the past.


Seems to be struggling still at club level, probably due to competition for players and partly Arsenal style. Shown he has a great passing range when playing with England which isn't displayed at Arsenal due to play style.

Sitting with a mate watching the game and build up to the first Rooney goal was interrupted by someone calling my mates home phone asking if he'd like to get cheaper calls. Angrily he says "no I wouldn't" slams the phone down. Just after the second Rooney goal phone rings again same story with bloke asking about home calls.
