Unless we go up, we can’t afford it so realistically won’t renew. If we made the PO final we could perhaps do a ‘bet’ to reduce the cost.

6k for away fans, not sure about that? Clubs will Always sell out for season tickets, money up front!

Then after that you can put your name down on a waiting list for season tickets.

It has to be 6k because there is no other way the South Stand can be segregated.

Its either the 3k we give for league games(too small for the cup), or the whole stand which is 6k

away is 4500 15% so would mean around 26k home max
I would imagine they would cap STH at around 24k

We can't give 4500 though. The South Stand can't be configured to a 4500 away allocation. Its either 3k, or the whole stand, which is 6k

It doesn't. Other clubs do it. You sell the STs but with a slight reduction as they don't guarantee cup tickets.

Cup tickets are separate. Every ST holder pays for it on top. No way reductions should be given on that basis.
think he means if you are not able guaranteed a seat like you are now i.e. a cheaper ticket means for a cup game you have to wait until the reserved window is over

But if you want to sell STs in an area where you're not guaranteed cup tickets there needs to be an incentive otherwise people wont buy them.
I appreciate we currently sell them in areas where people have to be moved but at the moment it's guaranteed they can be relocated.

I think it's all hypothetical anyway, we're not selling that many STs. I think they'll be a slight drop.

we sell them in the south stand though?

Yeah, but at the moment those people are guaranteed they can be relocated. That wouldn't be the case in the scenario we're talking about.
not going to happen, they won't do it like that as potentially we not play a home cup game

Yeah, but was just pointing out in a scenario where ST sales go through the roof there is a way for the club to sell more STs in that end, I don't see it happening either.

the more likely thing would be to use the south stand for the walk ups if st demand was that high

Could you imagine the hissy fit on here if Doug said that being a season ticket holder didn't guarantee a cup ticket?

I have missed a few games this season due to family commitments that have been impacted with some of the tv switch's, but still works out at great value for me so will deffo be renewing

just wait ‘till we get promote, hardly ever play at 3 on a Saturday and getting beat most weeks. People think we have moaners now……:sneaky:

With the consistently high home crowds I'd be surprised if we didn't sell loads again

Same, I think we'll at least equal last year.

No one seems unhappy with how things are at the moment, so there is no reason for the numbers to drop. If you think that last year the lowest crowd was 22k, that is how many season tickets we ended up selling.
This year the lowest was 24k, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see that many sold

Yep - compare and contrast either of the Leicester / Southampton forums, 12 months ago to now.

Leicester and Southampton were calling for a manager to be sacked just months after winning them promotion.

Leicester especially are entitled pricks. Look at what they did to Ranieri?

No way would we be like that in the first season back

Facebook mob can't cope with a draw at Hull, to keep us embedded in the top 6, so imagine what they'll be like after weeks of potential losses. I'd be happy for Social media to be muted for the season if we went up!

I bet if we hardly won in the first couple of months there'd be a growing number of people calling for the manager to go.

My only logic would be on the amount of games moved to early Saturday/Friday or Monday nights, may put some people off, especially if they have kids
I think we have had more Saturday games this season than last. Wasn't it something like 3 Saturday home league games from January to the end of the season last year?

So since January at home we have had
4 3pm kick offs
2 12.30 kick offs
3 midweek 7.45/8.00 kick offs
Last 2 games will be
WBA 3.00 kick-off (Friday)
Boro 12.30 kick -off (although last games are always this)
So running about half and half since the beginning of the year
I'm thinking more of families with young kids who either might not come for a night game or be playing football or doing something else on a Saturday morning
I myself am an old fart so will always be having a season ticket come rain or shine lol
