Being near the away fans and being part of a good atmosphere is actually a big part of the enjoyment for me and the (older) kids. We sing, they sing, we celebrate, they celebrate, it's all good fun. We've especially loved it when the away fans have brought the 4k in recent years. But I guess the fact that you think we're all there 'making the wanker sign than watching the game', says you probably don't understand it.
I never said anything about everyone , but there are those who want to be near the away fans just for that. I do understand it since I started going in the 1970s when home and away fans were segregated in the west end.
If being near the away fans is part of the enjoyment then each to their own but they're not that important for me.

I wonder whether they wiIl take the safe standing areas out if they are poorly used. Obviously wouldn’t want to lose the potential revenue.

Bulk of it is sold. 14/13 are sold out. 12 is nearly gone. Rows AA to EE are gone in 11. It will eventually fill out, even with pay on the day.

Long term they know it makes sense having it where it is. Even if they resort to the old layout of giving the away fans the entire South Stand.

No loss is there?
there will be a push on seats for people to use them if they have one if there is safe standing elsewhere - let’s see what happens when that starts to happen

Just a quick update - Purchased 65 tickets today and in total with £11,203 spent
FZ tickets were available which meant we could buy more than if they had been elsewhere in the ground.

Thank you to all who have contributed - still getting nominations and there are others that we couldn't say yes to to start with so if we do receive any more donations then we will carry on buying where possible.

Thank You
MMJ

Great work MMJ. You’re a credit to the club and fanbase.

As long as the option to move is left open during the season I can see a gradual drift across, particularly when sitting in singer’s corner is strongly enforced.

Your dot counters and nerds update is:

North 3,530 of 5,271 - 67% season tickets sold or unavailable
East 8,425 of 9,487 - 89% season tickets sold or unavailable
South 1,472 of 2,496 - 59% season tickets sold or unavailable
West 2,150 of 2,220 - 97% season tickets sold or unavailable
Family 3,179 of 3,179 - 100% season tickets sold or unavailable
Premium 3,234 of 3,382 - 96% season tickets sold or unavailable
Corporates 3,279 of 3,530 - 93% season tickets sold or unavailable
Unavailable 1,591 of 1,591 - 100% season tickets sold or unavailable
Away 2,628 of 2,628 - 100% season tickets sold or unavailable
---------------------------------
Total 21,990 of 26,035 - 84% season tickets sold or unavailable

Again, caveats apply about whether a dot being "grey" really means sold. The total at the bottom excludes the blocks of the season ticket map that are assigned for Away fans, Corporates and fully Unavailable. The Corporates actually look to be selling very well although I am sure many of these may be reserved for match day sales and complementary tickets.

Corporate and away allocation

What's weird is the total of all of those is 33,784 which is at least 1,000 over the maximum capacity... so I'm sure these numbers are wrong by at least that amount, but it's all a guessing game really.

When the Lionesses matches were announced at the CBS, the press release stated the stadium had a capacity of 33,100.

It never stays exactly the same and if we were to be promoted, you will probably find that this number will actually reduce due to the number of extra press/media, higher allocation of away fans and more security! In addition to this, it also comes down to the safety certificate and how many it is deemed to be safe for.

Personally think these areas highlighted yellow are currently for POTG and not available to purchase. Makes no sense to me to believe these have sold out.

Think that may effect the predicted number sold.

Here is what is left in corporate. In CC it looks like they have put an extra row on sale in both blocks B & E towards the front. Its only really the balcony not selling.

Isn’t the quoted maximum capacity the total seat numbers minus segregation, where no segregation needed capacity is greater than 33,000?

They have sold fuck all compared to what they thought they would, 13 is tiny and wow they have sold out 14 where most people just renewed

Why do you have to pretend everything the club does is brilliant and has worked out.

The comms from the club have been poor throughout this period.....even something as simple as an updated number is beyond them now it would seem.
Well yes updates create excitement , can make people think twice about purchase etc , can make people want to commit ..

The club have been very poor on social media of late , pic a day though until football is back

Not defending it, I'm saying they aren't going to suddenly decide not to add standing because half a block is empty.

It will eventually fill out, whether it's season tickets or single ticket holders.
