Can anyone me on this please? I am going to buy my brother a ST next to me tomorrow. He has his own member no, so when buying an I allocate it and pts to him?

Speak to the ticket office staff. I have complete confidence in them rather than some random on here. Plus you have some comeback on them rather than a guy from Holbrooks advised me.

Here's a thought, what if you're sensitive around your age,,do they need to know that as I can't see a bus pass on the list?

Ticket office just asked for my proof of age, via passport or driving licence - I'm 71 for f***s sake and been an ST holder for years!

Congratulations on qualifying for a long service medal. I'm sure you obliged without complaint? I would take it as a compliment.

Me too! We’ve been ‘on file’ for fucking years, man and boy, it’s getting a bit daft now. I can understand for the grandkids but me, ffs!

Can't you suggest bus pass, should be enough but not listed in the options, I mean they don't need to know actual age just that you've passed it and that is foolproof?

If they had done this at the beginning. It would have been a lot easier for the club. Typical of the club to do it @rse about face

How much leeway, the presumption is your lying that's why I'm so angry about it.

You are within your rights to disagree with the policy but getting angry about it is a bit OTT.

Surely if a policy is in place the same rules should apply to everyone. It should not be dictated by staff discretion. I've seen women in their 60's who look mid 40's. I have seen blokes down the pub in their 40's who look 70 and look as though they are about to die.

the presumption is that other people have been lying.
the club hasn't really had any choice but to do this.

And again. Broken fucking record. They’ve been doing this for AT LEAST 30 fucking years

Maybe it’s more a result of them not doing it properly when we were run by Timbo for a tenner

I had to send my lads at the weekend, he's just turned 18.

Said they won't dispatch STs without the proof. Asked for confirmation of receipt. Never got it.
