Is there a cap this year?

Imagine if we sold 20k season tickets

Should be a much higher cap. We have an extra 3000 home seats to sell.

Think I’m right in saying neither of these blocks had any STs sold last season. One is right next to the away fans, the other in DayTripper Corner.

WTF lads?

I doubt we will need a cap this season looking at how many are left. The cap last season was bullshit anyway just to get a few more sales in at the death.

We need to show intent in the transfer window if people are going to get onboard this season.

Aren’t we comfortably beating last years sales by all accounts?

They went on sale later last year, we have sold nowhere near what we did last year before season ticket holder seats are released.

Why do you think they are barley releasing any figures, if the sales are great they would be tweeting about it left right and centre.

Last year they first gave out the figures at 10k, then again when ST seats were released (16k), why do you think they’d do it differently this year?

Let’s see where we are next week when we can see the whole seating map.

Is it Monday that they get released?

Why do you think they are barely releasing any figures, if the sales are great they would be tweeting about it left right and centre.

Not sure how you can say nowhere near given the only figure released was “over 10k” from just over a week ago. We sold 16k by seat release day last year.

It’s just my gut feelings about things. Think Doug has pissed a lot of people off with the draconian Family zone rules. Can see it being half empty next season I think a lot of seats sold in the south stand are people moved from the family stand. Only time will tell, need some proper signings to get people on board.

Do you not remember last season? Doug had fucked it all. Too expensive. Too late. You name it. No one was going to renew, should have done it before we lose the playoffs etc etc.

As I say let’s see, we’re both reading tea leaves, or even worse GIMOC posts, right now

What is draconian about trying to stop people from cheating the system.

Not really sure I follow the logic that King clamping down on adults taking the piss in the family zone has upset so many people who don't sit there that the ground will be half empty.

I think the greater TV coverage and hysteria around games never been at an exact set time every week may put a few off but these will be replaced by others and be close to last years total.

I thought we capped at 18k? Was it 19.5?

Capped at 18.5k last year I think so with the additional 3000 home seats I wonder if it will be capped at 21.5k.

They will always leave a certain amount for sale on match day as it generates more revenue, not to mention the fact people in block 11-13 will need to be offered a seat for FA cup games.
