In regard to ticketing.
The CCFC web site for Shrewsbury tickets was inaccurate in regard to these additional fees, it called them processing fee and ticket master calls it Serrvice charge and delivery charge. It also said the processing fee would not be charged for print at home tickets. So I expected not to be charged this £1 processing fee / service charge, but it did. I sent an email to the Club, and I now notice they have corrected this for the Bury game, but still calling it processing and not service charge as ticketmaster web site calls it.
My point is at the begining of the season there were going to be no cash turnstiles, so every ticket would be surcharged with this £1 service charge, so IMHO the club should be saying the £26 ticket +£1 service charge should be a £27 ticket with no further surcharges, customers dont like being surcharged. Better still taking the hit themselves.
The Club has always paid the cost of admin to selling tickets when done inhouse, if outsourced it still should be part of the ticket price anyway.
This commercial logic is rubbish and customers will refuse to pay the surcharges.
I'm coming to the conclusion that its tickmaster staff at the Butts Ticket office, anyone knows? Otherwise it does not make sense to be charging £1 service / processing charge,
In regard to someone wanting to buy a season ticket, and being turned away, at least the staff should had said we have the 20, 10, 5 what ever packages, rather leaving the cash in his pocket - madness.
Since Steve Waggott left we just seem to gone down hill, commercially (and also on the pitch).
