Its the principle and poor reflexion on the club fp. Ive never known such a shambles in 30 years with peoples season tickets.
Would just be nice for once to see the club being run efficently

No doubt if you had it in May and lost it you'd be bleating that the club gave it to you too early.

They have been efficient you clown

Second class post for second class service .
Its obvious that the Club have has selected the economy package with ticket master to save money and ask the fans to pay their fee, ie £1 booking fee per ticket for non seasin ticket holders.
Are the season tickets electroniccards?

The issue is pretty much entirely down to ticketmaster from what I can see. The club should be having serious words.

Mine haven't arrived, so I guess I'll have to collect duplicates on Saturday which is no major hassle really. The only concern is that there appear to be an awful lot still waiting, and there could be some lengthy queues. I don't imagine the club ever expected such a poor service from ticketmaster when they signed over control. The issues will be ironed out over time though I'm sure.

Yes they are.

Although of course the fee would be passed to the fans? It is how ticketmaster works isn't it?

Agree, I don't see why the club aren't just redirecting it all to Ticketmaster, they are being paid for it and have screwed up but the club take the flack. Obviously the club hired them, but even so they should be communicating it is Ticketmaster's fault with the fans.

I still dont think Ticketmaster should be able to charge fees while stuff doesnt work.

Perhaps we should add ticket master to the protest for saturday. That should cover everyone then

Who is panicking? I can't see any comments above where there is panic. A bit melodramatic that.

Going along and picking up duplicates from the ticket office is easy - the problem will come when 1000 have to do that at pretty much the same time.

There is no harm in pointing out that ticketmaster have fucked up a bit. Why are people getting so precious because a third-party billion dollar corporate giant like ticketmaster are taking a bit of flak? Odd.

Make a day of it.
Get your tickets early and then go down the casino to watch the Sky match and have a few bevvys.
It's not like a week day, for most people anyway when it's a dash from work.
Mind you, I can't make it this week and have been unable to give my ticket away.....yet.

If I am honest, Ticketmaster should be getting a bit more Flak. They are charging admin fees without the service.

Ticketmaster obviously have everybodies details, so if they are being paid to manage the ticketing operation you would think they would send mass emails out to keep people up to date? If they aren't being paid to do things like that then we have to question what is the admin fee actually for? Is it just for using their online platform?

They sent them out 2nd class also, still ahven't got mine!

Well in the 5000 they sent out some are going to be delayed, it's inevitable. Could have been me, but it was you. That's life, isn't it?

Of course, but I think it is more than a few. Five of us at work have STs, but only 1 of us has received it. Could be coincidence of course, but clearly something has gone awry at ticketmaster.

Ah well, on the plus side it means I have a genuine excuse for getting to the Ricoh at 11.30am and drink myself stupid before the game :)

Mmm, chased Ticketmaster on email with reference number etc, about my Season Ticket not turning up and got following reply. Anyone care to decipher the response?

Thanks for your email.

Unfortunately we didn't get an allocation of tickets from the event organisers, so we're not selling for this – your best bet would be to get in touch with the club for more details.

I'm sorry that we can't help you further with this.

Best Wishes,

John,

Sounds like John on the customer care team doesn't really care for the customers as he has sent out a standard reply letter.

Probably be half of royal mail at the match tomorrow:woot:

That happened at an England game a while back. Ordered tickets via ticketmaster and they didn't arrive. We had to collect duplicates at the ground (it was Anfield) and so no real issue, until somebody rocked up in the ground saying we were in their seats - wafting around tickets that had our names on! They even had the nerve to complain to the stewards.

Mine hasn't arrived yet bought it about an hour ago and still not been delivered yet;) very quick took less than 5 minutes, it isn't the fault of the people who work there but they are getting a bit of stick

I bet John isn't his real name either. It is like Wing Wah where they are called Keith, Ian and Michael.

Exactly! Years ago, I was a call centre manager and we worked alongside other centres in India etc. And it was hilarious to be dealing with someone like Davinder Rajesh Singh but when he was dealing with UK calls, he'd be called Gavin! They even made them watch programmes like Eastenders and Corrie to give them things to talk about with UK customers!
