As a Firefox user anyway, this doesn't really effect me, and to be honest it just seems like a big 'ole sound-off for the Mac fan-boi's to once again tout their super-machines and indestructableness!
But if you does use IE, just be wary of it I say - some of the steps listed in the BBC article (as suggested my Microsoft) aren't valid unless you are running IE 7 on Vista etc, but most are just common sence (like, keep your anti-virus software up to date)
