Well, I wasn't talking to you really was I. In this guys case he couldn't be more obvious
It's a bit like being with a long term girlfriend who you really really love but has gone away for a few weeks. Haven't had sex for a while but all of a sudden you're out on a night out and an opportunity arises with another girl, she's nice and all, kind of reminds you of your girlfriend and she really wants a bit of rumpy pumpy with you, the urge is there and you are dying to get your end away as its been so long but you know deep down it is going to hurt your relationship in the long run, and with that she may never come back.
No that was not the point, the point was people had to stand together for each other and did not after one week they give in ,yes I hold my hands up there are better comparisons to make a point but hands up so lets no go off topic ,Are we now making comparisons with the appeasement of Nazi Germany?
This is a new low.
I hope Godwin gets commission for his law. This place alone would make him a multi-millionaire.

No you weren't, but I'll be honest it's petty and without proof unjustified.
After much thought and listening to all views, opinions and weighing up facts. I've decided that the NOPM approach will not drive out SISU. My team is a pawn in a business tug-of-war and I'm the one (all fans) that's losing out on my main interest/passion outside family & work.
I'm supporting the team this Sunday and am quite sure a few hundred more supporters than the Bristol City game will take this view too.
I do support away too and am going to Shrewsbury (less contention) and would especially encourage those sticking with the NOPM conviction to come too...
Don't we all agree we should be in Coventry not Northampton ?Surely if everybody agreed they would stand together?
That is the common denominator yes, The the strategy we adopt pursuing that matter is where everything differsDon't we all agree we should be in Coventry not Northampton ?
I think this about sums it up I do not wish it but we will have a bad spell, and people will stay away again and thus the status quo , this move away was a chance to all speak as one , of course we will always sell players ect but moving to another city had to be a step too far, was asked why are people selfish ? because there are people old people 60yr plus fans who will now probably never see city again in the flesh but as long as others get there ccfc fix who cares, one last point full credit to those who come on here and say they are going to northampton , easier to say nothing and go anyway so fair play to that2 wins and people think we're on a promotion roll - oh dear, 2 turkeys do not a promotion make. We'll see how many keep going in the depths of winter on evening and night matches when the pitch is crap and we are performing at our usual October/November rate.
These buggers will never be gone if they see the drift back. I fear that my home town club will never see their home town again now they have left, We are, in fact, the new Wimbledon and the rest of the FL clubs should take note that when their club is the next target of a hedge fund then the FL will abandon you just as quickly as they did us.
Love this ive been reading these forums for ages only posted a couple of times before one about a cup match in Portsmouth, cant remember what the other one was and your convinced im someone else.I will say this for the last time-YOU ARE WRONGPetty to point it out probably yes. Maybe I should say, if you create another account to back up your argument at least make it look like it is someone else.
Again, I can't prove it but in this case it is really really obvious.

You are also right in paying tribute to those who come on here with their reasons/excuses for attending matches at Northampton; they are however wrong. Will they continue attending when, as I fear will happen in the long run, the team drops Coventry from its name?
But there is no other strategy ,none, sisu moved Coventry out of Coventry for money , so don't give them any until they come back, it is that black and white ,if they want to build another ground good on them , but play in Coventry while they do it, black and whiteThat is the common denominator yes, The the strategy we adopt pursuing that matter is where everything differs

Im going on Sunday as well didnnt go to the first game at sixfields and didnt want to go to the Ricoh as in my opinion pressure has got to be put on both sides as i think ACL/CCC have a lot to answer for in all this and if the casino and compass were boycotted they would put pressure on ACL/CCC to sort it out.At the end of the day the football club needs to own the stadium otherwise we will go from one diaster to another.
Have to say that I find it pretty sad that anyone can decide boycotting Northampton and then change their mind after one game. Would your decision have been the same if we had lost the last two games? No backbone, where is the courage of your conviction?
Nopm would either force sisu out or back to Coventry.
Maybe. That's certainly the theory, but far from demonstrable fact. Certainly far enough from fact to make 'blood on your hands' a lot of theatrical nonsense.
They can if they're willing to plug the gaps and built debt in the meantime. Can you tell me with any kind of certainty that this isn't something Sisu would ever do?

There have plenty of points where they could have done things that made more sense, like pay wages that kept us in a more profitable division and so on. They're still here.
There's absolutely no certainty that what you're shouting at people for not following you on is the successful method.
