Tbh Torch don't think it matters who the manager is I sadly think we are just not good enough, we might get a couple of wins like we did under Venus, but would be back here in January shouting for the manager's head.
Seriously worried about this season.:(

Maybe so, or we could be doing better. I'm seriously worried about this season if we have to continue under Venue which is why I don't get fans saying "I'm glad JFH turned us down, so there" is so pathetic. Fans the world over want the best for their team, apart from here it seems. I understand the hatred of SISU, we all want them gone, but not the hatred for your club.

If we appoint a new manager and he gets a few results, the pressure comes off the scumbags again but it will go tits up soon again for the team after the initial bounce !
SISU OUT is the only thing that matters !

There it is in black and white, "I don't want us to do well as it will take the pressure off SISU". Coventry City is the only thing that should matter to Coventry City fans.

People wanting their team to lose and defended by the usual suspects. I think you'll find no one is having a go at the CT, just the idiots who want their team to lose.

I understand we need a new manager but having seen what happened to the last 6 or 7 not sure anyone could manage here.

Well, that's bullshit because every team in every league in every country in the world has a manager. We'll be no different.

To be honest if people are posting the shit they do on the CT site, about fans going to games being scabs etc, then its not an agenda, its fact that those people are fucking morons.

Stop talking about those facts, what you should be doing is just repeating something you saw on a dodgy photoshopped image on Facebook.

Yeah and different perspective, but just not sure if JFH is the right man anyway. Did well at Burton, but they'd built a base. Did poorly at QPR... but they don't have a base!

I know it's a big ask, but we need a man who thrives on carnage and chaos! So Cotterill, Slade etc. are the obvious choices; the John Colemans of this world would be up there. Hell, ask Robins if he wants to come back... or even Dowie (did a mighty job at Oldham when they were crashing and burning off the field).

So not sure it's a job for someone like JFH anyway.

Years from now, they're gonna ask us: "where were you when they took over and ruined a whole city's historic football club"? And you'll say: "We just stood by, and watched".

I should be going crazy apeshit bonkers tonight, like some on here. Its a right insultfest, I feel like I am being too boring, still plenty of time to rev up. ;)

It is the only thing that matters the thing is our owners don't care.
Therefore we need to do as much as we can to get the scumbags out of our town.
And I don't mean by us losing never brought a season ticket to watch us lose, just so depressing being a City fan at the moment.

So by people demonstrating against our owners doesn't mean they are against the team,

I know this post is aimed at someone else, but I would prefer to remember where I am when they leave. They will leave. Its coming.

And they'll hang me and the other 9000 "fans" from the traitors gate. Only The True Fans like you will hold their head high. Nice one.

It's the taking the notice part that is laughable, trolls everywhere my friend. Tis the t'internet.

Of course they are not. Calling fans who attend games "traitors", hoping your team will lose and being pleased that a manager has turned is down...well...that is against the team.

I agree with that.

FWIW, think your biggest battle is stopping the mouthy nutter minority from banging on about NOPM and the like, an creating noise that, frankly, ain't good for protests as a whole as it distracts from the wider message.

Think if that lot shut up, you'd find it a lot easier to get the cynics on board.

Very very true.

I think we are all so pissed off its easy to rise at what others say, and to take notice of things we normally wouldn't. Its so bad I almost listened to the shite Linnell drones on about on CWR. Need to cut that right out! ;)

I would hope to stand side by side to all the Sky Blue Army, including people like yourself, and rejoice.

Well, you've changed your tune. I thought I was standing there with 9000 others saying "We just stood their and watched"?

Thing is though there are plenty of people on here and at games who hate SISU but I don't think they would ever wish for us to lose or start having a go at people for wanting us to win.

Absolutely.

As well as just saying things that have happened, there is so much people can shout at SISU for so when people keep shouting over and over they are taking the season ticket money if anything it dilutes it and diverts things for them.

The issue is though, that when somebody actually says anything to the mouthy nutter crew then everybody piles in with the SISU lover stuff.

If there was somebody who would actually explain and go through things (whether people agreed or not) then a lot more people would be on board. The general consensus is that you have to agree or you are a sisu lover.

Apart from the ones on here I actually only know one NOPM personally.
Most of my friends have just given up going.
will be even less going next season:(

The thing is, I think most can see the difference between somebody giving up and people who shout about NOPM and starving the club.

How many wives have put a stop to it? "You can stop going if you keep coming home a moody twat?"

I think this is pretty spot on. More people I know are going less and less due to what's on offer on the pitch, rather than to force SISU out.
SISU are mastering their own downfall, I just hope the club still has a heartbeat when they go.

And that is why I take no notice of those that want my team to lose.

I have never wanted that and if I decide not to get a season ticket next year I would still want them to win.

Yeah and that's the point, NOPM is a proper minority really but boy, do they make some noise online.

Self-fulfilling about giving up going, too. Just about everyone I knew who went doesn't anymore, so it makes it all the harder to decide to go myself!

Still, nowt like bonding over a nice big shared protest, eh? ;)

The problem is one that can't be aimed at Telegraph readers, Facebook members or season ticket holders. Where it can be aimed is every 'comments' section on every single website on the Internet. Watch out if you ever find one where sensible points are being made and discussed, you will almost certainly be tripping your tits off.

On the other hand I'm not going up Thursday so I'm going to stroll onto the Telegraph site on a mighty metaphorical steed and claim the adoration of the guy who has eight different names

The thing is though, for example if you read an article on the telegraph which lots of people will. What impression do they get of the fanbase?

They won't see everyday people just going to games because they support CCFC, they won't see people doing a protest and then going in and cheering on the team.

What happens if people follow "groups" like PSB group online? They just see the endless propaganda they put out about boycotts, starving the club, SISU taking the season ticket money.

I know you take no notice, but a lot of people really do take notice. There have been people asking others whether they should go to games etc.

It was a joke that seemed appropriate for the discussion ;) (A quote from Transformers 3, changed a little).

2 things I want:

1.) SISU gone at any means necessary.
2.) Fans to unite when SISU leave to pick the club back up from out of the gutter.

Simply because both are possible and needed, for the future of our club to exist.

Fans can unite before they leave, then being a stronger force and probably more chance of being bought ;)
