Attendance of 6k that day so yes looks about right!
That's being kind if anything. Could be as low as half that. 6000 means roughly 1 in every 5.5 seats being full across the whole stadium. Back then there were two empty stands behind the goals (bar about 17 Forest Green fans). It's probably 1/10 in the stand that's used plus whoever is in the one with the dug outs.

It's actually depressing watching back highlights on tv of league 2. Knowing how good it looks now even being 3/4 full.

Even though it was fun.

Based on wasps numbers there were just short of 23000 that day

Grim times, but league one and two did have some good away days. I really liked some of the smaller grounds.
Burton Albion was a good one

Euro 2016 Prediction League Champion!!
My boy was a mascot that day (which was an amazing experience and I can't compliment the club enough for that) and at the time we were gutted we didn't win, its since become sort of a badge of honour that it pretty much marked our lowest point.

Yes, Forest Green had something like 100 fans and were all sat in the block next to the main stand. A grim day.

The away game however was even worse!

Ah yeah, remember those days. Reminds me of the Gillingham comeback game and the woeful attendance of our next home fixture.

Our stripey pests former landlords would have claimed that as 12k+

Also crazy that May 2018 we played Notts county. We are closing in on the topflight of EFL and they are closing in on joining the EFL

Is this the one where burge or another blonde keeper made a mistake?

Remember the game against Burton Albion where Burge kicked the ball out straight to Jamie Allen who blasted it in.

"Lee Burge!"

Singers corner was a smattering of people but we still kept the atmosphere going even in League 2.

I remember that game where there was a 40 minute rendition of Twist and Shout.

They’ve got to fight their way through the playoffs first. Imagine losing out to Borehamwood who are currently 37 points behind them
