Just realised I'm on holiday that weekend. Considering leaving my family and flying back for it.

We've had a mate postpone their 40th birthday party already. Imagine not liking football #priorities

Anyone who posted in that thread saying they wanted to win the play-offs more than the cup should be disqualified from tickets imo
Spot on !

I doubt I'll have the points for tickets, but the fact that it's Wembley again is such an achievement, incredible.

I know I keep telling my 12 yr old this isn't normal!

He's seen 2 promotions, including a league win, a jpt win and 3 trips to Wembley!

Also England have been competitive. He's totally spoilt 🤣

I was 5 when we won the FA cup. Bar a few good years in the prem it's been bleak!
Yeah post-relegation was an almost exclusively downward trajectory until Robins' return. I'm glad i experienced the PL years as a kid, all the exciting signings we made, but my lad is definitely having a superb start to his life as city fan growing up now

Man City is the only team I don't want. They just feel like a relentless machine who would turn us over 5-0 without blinking.

Also my son's school seems absolutely rammed with little Man City glory supporters who give him enough grief for supporting a championship team as it is.

Leicester would be funny. Then I'd fancy our chances more of a shock against Chelsea, Newcastle or Man United. Liverpool would be a weird one, they have a lot of emotions wrapped up in winning the league again, might give us a hope if they are stretched squad wise.

Gonna be so hard whoever we get but I really hope it's not Man City
Couldn’t not agree more !!

Looking at the allocations for recent FA Cup semi finals online - i.e clubs like Liverpool saying how theirs would be sold - seems clubs get in the region of 34k. We had over 19k season ticket holders when City were selling half season tickets in December and presumably they sold a few of those. Assuming some tickets go to players’ families and sponsors etc, it surely has to be one per STH. There simply won’t be enough for all STHs otherwise. Then some tickets would go into a hierarchy of points based sales.

It’s brilliant that the younger generation have got so many wonderful memories. I’m and old git - two trips to Wembley on 50 off years and then 4 on 7 - utterly ridiculous 😄

I have noticed recently that they have iintroduced a non ST 200+ points bracket for away games but obviously they haven't been reaching that level

Do you those that have purchased tickets for the home Cup games would get some kind of priority

No expert and just speculating like everyone else. It probably has to be the accumulated points though, or you’d surely undermine the whole investment in them, club’s investment in the system and process and people’s gathering of points by going to multiple games, away games, cold winter midweek games etc.

No, fans who have been season ticket holders through thick and thin, deserve priority.
They will, every ST holder will get a chance to purchase a ticket then we’ll get down to people who have been to games in the FA Cup run.

It’ll be like the playoffs.

They would be insane to make it more than one per season ticket holder if that meant potentially not every season ticket holder getting one

on top of season ticket holders they’ve got to allow for corporate members, sponsors etc who will all want tickets

get everyone sorted then move onto who has the most points
