only if wasps change their demands. No way sisu will give them the reassurances they need regarding future penalties.
Of course not, thats what the sticking point will be though as wasps know they have the upper hand in the short term.... Only hope for us is that the complaint is in our favour and bankrupts wasps giving us the ricoh
It's not about SISU giving them assurances though? If SISU agreed to their demands they'd be putting the club and its own employees at risk of complete ruin. Wasps won't change their demands because they've put those conditions in place for a reason - to eradicate all future possibility of paying the price if the EC finds that CCC has given an unfair advantage in providing state aid to Wasps. Demanding indemnity shows how desperate they actually are.
Because there wankers and Duggins and his council mates are telling them to keep us outI'm not sure how you can say it's not about assurances, that's what wasps want. Whether it's sisu or the club they want to shoulder the burden of any future financial penalties
. sisu, understandably won't do it, they can't withdraw the complaint so the only possible way forward is a change of heart by wasps.
Given that the complaint will go ahead whatever I don't understand why they are going to deny themselves the revenue that CCFC bring.

Drowning people will grab anything to try and survive, only a 1000 STs sold, we are just 6 weeks away from St Andrews which will cost the business shed loads. I still think we will kick -off at the Ricoh.
Fair enough...but why speak now ?I have been a huge critic of JS and one of those criticisms has been shying away from the media; a club owner should really have some kind of public profile in my view. So give her credit where it is due, I didn't think we'd see the day when she fronted up for the cameras and spoke like this. Fair play to her.
I know your are trying to downplay ST sales, which is fair enough. I think they will be better than you expect, but either way clearly way down on what they have would have been. In no way though do I think that poor ST sales would force the club back to the Ricoh. That will only happen if Wasps shift their position. To me it seems SISU are willing to see out next season at SA if Wasps don't buckle, regardless of the financial hit. Perhaps they are banking on the Wilson sell-on fee. We get £3 million from that and that is the equivalent of 15,000 season tickets if you take the average price.

It was fine for these councillors to make these statements when they thought they were in a position of strength to bully the club. Not so easy to bully the EU offices. Now it just makes it seem they were trying to cover things up.The actual EC investigation will only go ahead against the council IF the EU think there is grounds for it.
You only need to look at the shite the councillors are coming out with "They were told to to drop the legals and there is a deal on the table". Then they make out they have no involvement.
I've heard it from the horses mouth. A deal was agreed and on the table, then Wasps come back and essentially demand that the club sign a clause that essentially stated that itself and its own employees should be held accountable for any penalties from the complaint's findings. Do you think that's fair? Or acting out of good faith? To me that's Wasps making it personal.
Because they're desperate to be indemnified. Don't you think it's strange that Wasps are demanding the club indemnify them and not the Council? Equally, why are they going to such lengths to demand indemnity. If they're so confident of a positive outcome from the complaint what have they got to hide?
Can you tell me the ISIN and I'll take a look?

Which is why I can't understand wasps denying themselves income.
It may not go ahead, if it does it can't be stopped. It may take years anyway.
How much is no CCFC at the Ricoh costing them I wonder?
Or it's just a reason to get rid of the club while still trying to blame SISU for it.
Put impossible conditions on it, shout about legals a lot.
I don't think it's to get rid of the club at all, as the club have nothing to do with it. Removing SISU out of the equation how does CCFC not existing help Wasps? Even if your scenario was correct and Wasps got their wish of CCFC ceasing to exist, I'd hedge my bets SISU wouldn't suddenly cut ties and not be heard from again. If I can see that, so can Wasps. Wasps simply see the club as a pressure spot for SISU.
As per, the club once again is being used as collateral to push agendas and the agendas coming from the Wasps camp appear desperate to say the least. From what I've heard about the negotiations their habit of moving the goalposts was extremely reactionary - which again, to me, screams of desperation.
Thing is, who's to say it was someone who is a Cov fan? Could have just been a random burglary.
Interesting, why have people like Simon G refused to dig more into Hoffman being backed by a Rich Rugby club owner?
Comments of "Strangle the bitch" and making light of people breaking into her house, that are popping up on twitter are pretty horrendous.
Because they think if the club is pushed out it forces SISU to hand it over to Hoffman so them / CCC / Hoffman can live happily ever after.
Why is kicking the club out pressuring SISU? It's the same mistake the council and ACL made, punch the club thinking it bothers SISU.
I personally have heard some City fans threaten violence and intimidation at houses of certain individuals, in order to make SISU sell.
This was a long time ago, but I wouldn’t be surprised if there was truth in this - people do go too far, it’s human nature
Did you write this before looking at that tweet? That doesn't make sense though. Where's the evidence to suggest they think that? Plus what would SISU be handing over to Hoffman if the club is finished and why would Wasps care who a phenix club is governed by? Do you honestly think Hoffman would be interested in a club that's at the very bottom of the football pyramid? You seem to be speculating rather than keeping to facts.
Because they're trying to force SISU's hand to indemnify them from any future penalties that come from an EC investigation. This is what reeks of desperation to me. Ironically it's the Council they should be demanding indemnity from, not the club, nor SISU. If I had to guess Wasps have asked the question and the Council have said no. Hence why in my opinion they're clearly panicked and are willing to go to such lengths to pressure SISU (by using the club as collateral) to be completely indemnified from the state aid investigation.

So it’s more important for wasps that they’re protected from the EC investigation. Fair enough. What’s odd is how desperate the council are for it not to go ahead.

Which is the same as when the PR company was talking to a fans group about "doorstepping" her?
No idea if it happened or if there was a burglary though.
Strong claim by Seppala implying Wasps are trying to still pressure CCFC in order to buy it themselves or through a 3rd party. without a whistleblower not easy for journos to get info if parties involved are going to hide behind commercial confidentiality.

Bit of a thin claim from Joy. Obvious neither SISU or wasps have the resources to push for a Prem place or even survive in current Championship financial climate“Wasps want to buy Cov City. As a rugby club they have topped out, but we have the potential of being a Premier League club, with Prem revenues.”
Haha go on Joy lad, bridges are being burned right there but its true though, hopefully wasps get relegated next season
