We don't have much luck with injuries to key players. Let's hope it's nothing serious.

Calf injury apparently, left the stadium in a protective boot. Hopefully just a couple of weeks.

Chance to try something a bit different in midfield, for a start Hamer was excellent yesterday in a slightly different role he was everywhere and I thought Jamie Allen was better playing deeper I expect Eccles to go into CM which is his favoured position.

That doesn't sound good. Think a couple of weeks is being optimistic but fingers crossed.....

Trouble is, we don't have injuries the last only 2 weeks.

Good job Eccles is fit again, or he’d put Kelly in there.

This is part of the greater issue I alluded to the other day: the poor transfer window, negatively patching up the holes with inferior quality players, and all things considered, I can’t see us getting anywhere near the top half at this rate. 2 wins since November, a light squad, more injuries, no adequate replacements (bar McNally) and our over reliance on Vik is showing more now that he’s hit a dry patch.

Pardon the pun, but any more injuries to key players, and we’ll be lucky to limp over the finish line above 19th or 20th place.

Like I said, Cov don't do short term injuries.

Godden said when he blocked the ball that caused his injury, it resulted in his ankle being in a place it shouldn't be. So what did we do?

We left him on another 30 minutes

We also had Hamer suspended for 5 games! We are fortunate that Vik has stayed fit.

Dear Deidre,

I just can’t find a reliable man, just when I fall in love he disappears for months at a time. It’s happened with several different ones already this year.

Please advise,

Frustrated from Coventry
P.S. The one reliable one just doesn't push the right buttons.

Dear Frustrated from Coventry,

So sorry that your record with keeping men isn’t going well.

Try to ensure that you have them in the correct positions, else they’ll often disappoint. Do try to avoid small men, they often just aren’t up the job unless they are from Brazil.

Friend of mine has hardly got a good word to say about him.
OK I get it's all about opinions but ffs he gets an awful lot of criticism from some quarters a little unfairly at times.

Here's how much we'll miss him from an attacking point of view... let alone the defensive work (much of it off the ball!) he does which goes unnoticed by some.....
(And also how much we miss OHare)

I’m a little mystified as to why they believe Gus played for Reading?

Wow, it’s like travelling back to the 1970s.
I think you will find it's a joke tied into Grendel last night accusing me and PVA of having gay sex.

The fact you decided to respond to me but not his post says it all. You are having a nightmare mate.
