The stats from last nights game are insane.
Apart from the obvious goal advantage and shots we had more possession, more passes, more accurate passes, more forward passes, most duel won.
Tackles let us down. Love Torp and Allen but they're not the players when your backs are against the wall. Need a bit more steel in there.
Season ending?
One where the player tried to take Binks head off quite funny, not a word, Campbell with a physical coming together with Grimes, something said between them afterwards, not even a talking to for him after the incident with the goalie, shit ref,why did Haji go off when Simms came on.late yeah but get em on together.Wilder is a master of the dark arts and has the ref in his pocket.
the amount of kicking the ball away and the distracting the ref, surrounding the ref for any foul to try and get bookings.
leaving one on a player late
Ugly side of the game yet the ref feel for it every time
As soon as that free-kick was given, I turned to my missus and said "Well, this is going to go in, you watch and see."Watching on TV, I thought we controlled the game in many ways, but they were far more incisive in the final third and they had Hamer’s quality to score that peach of a free kick and give them the lead. Bobby Thomas shouldn’t have committed the foul knowing what Hamer can do from there. Milan was nearby and they still have to get the ball in the net. Let him go if he has beaten you and take your chances. I’m not too downhearted. The relegated teams are almost in a different mini league this season. We need to prepare well for the Portsmouth and Hull games and get good results in those to solidify our place in the top six. Be great to beat Burnley, or get a point, and maybe home support can make the difference. The West Brom game could be huge. Hopefully sell out and really get behind them for that one.

So annoying, because you could foresee it.
I think it’s the ‘touches in the box’ metric that was the difference maker. They always had time and space in our box, and that shouldn’t happen. Our defence has a terrible habit of ball watching. The Brewster goal was a classic where everyone falls to the six yard box, and no one covers a man in a dangerous position. There’s no way Sheff Utd would do that In defence.
There was applause by me after it went in, dunno whether it was for the goal or his lack of celebration but there was applause nonethelessI didn't see or hear any applause for Hamers goal?

I didn't, I was mortified about how much we are an absolute soft touch at timesWhy would you do that?

Yeah that's how I misinterpreted too..Ah thought you meant there was applause by you meaning 'by you' - if you know what I mean
Quite possibly , Simms goal comes to mind, however that was a scenario where the goalie didn't get crocked out of the challenge, I think he did contact Dovin and should have at least got a lecture from the ref, I think earlier by about five minutes the one I was on about with Grimes was similar but luckily managed to shift the ball quickly to the oppo as it happened. We would have expected our striker to challenge the ball. It was stupid of Dovin to try what he did.
No, I thought it was a cracking strike - Just like I thought Stuart Armstrong's was when we played Southampton in the cup a few years ago was probably the best goal I have ever seen us concedeWas it okay if I said ‘ooof what a goal’ like I would have with any player?
Yes - terrible keeping. You’d expect a 10 year-old to save thisNot the one that looped over him.
The straight shot from the edge of the box.
Poor reactions, then very poor technique with the ball just going through his hand.

Didn't applaud either tho as I would never applaud us conceding

Any news on how long Kitching will be out? He's as big a miss. I dont particularly rate Lati but I even prefer him Binks

I cannot believe we signed him. He wasn't great last season, and has been just as underwhelming this season. I'm guessing we've paid over £1m for him too.We should look at offloading Binks in the summer
Dovin is a big loss but hopefully it’s balanced out by the return of Kitching and RudoniI cannot believe we signed him. He wasn't great last season, and has been just as underwhelming this season. I'm guessing we've paid over £1m for him too.

If it wasn't for that tackle on Fernandes at Wembley I am convinced 95% of us would have been completely indifferent to him coming back or notI cannot believe we signed him. He wasn't great last season, and has been just as underwhelming this season. I'm guessing we've paid over £1m for him too.
If a gk comes to my home turf and starts trying to Cruyff turn me, I'd do exactly what their player did. He’s done it loads of times and plays the ball well
The difference here was Campbell didn’t give a shit about his safety so caught him and then tried another kick
Nah what was the second kick forIf a gk comes to my home turf and starts trying to Cruyff turn me, I'd do exactly what their player did.
Key lesson here for Dovin. And he'll unfortunately have a few months off to reflect on it
surely any player can expect to play the ball without a thug kicking his leg away???
Worst decision Robins ever made for me
We could have had Callum Doyle back on loan, and Robins opted for Binks
I promise you I'm not on the wind up
You think the club genuinely believed Hamer wanted to stay even if a PL club came in and offered £15 million?
Sorry one second, the wallet inspector just rang my doorbell
No I think the player caught his foot and twisted his knee.
Edit :-, Sticks neck out, think it will be cartelidge torn.
I didn't, I was mortified about how much we are an absolute soft touch at times
