Think Allen might start in this one with perhaps one up front
Sheaf,Hamer,ohare and Allen behind victor
Clarke salter is out injured so Hyam could be back in
Good news about waghorne looks like he will not need op and not out as long as originally thought
One up top has been mentioned on here before every away game but Robins has consistently played 2 up. Can't see that changing this weekend.

Any pubs pencilled in? I normally go to the Tap at the station first but on the way to Barnsleh the other month we stopped here for a few to wait for someone on another train and police came in clearing out away fans of which ever Sheff team was at home.

Edit: before the game i mean, like 10ish

Few muted about. Heard a few going to Howard and others to that Spoons on the other side of the ground. Sheaf I think?

Anyone got any spare tickets to sell?

I didn’t get mine sorted quick enough and I was going with my lad.

He is inching towards being a Blade but has been watching Cov with me so is ready to be brought back into the light

Ridiculous as it sounds we live in Sheffield now so getting a ticket in the wrong end will be simple enough.

I’ve done the “brought tickets in the wrong end Mr Steward, let me in the right end please?” trick in the distant past - not sure whether to risk it again.

Anyway, if anyone has some suggestions or better still a couple of tickets then…..

Any idea how long we will be without JCS? Sounded like he was playing through the injury before the international break. Feel like he is underappreciated and we will notice the difference with Hyam or Rose on that side
Don’t think it’s too serious probably just needs to rest it as much as anything

Surely not. If Allen is coming back it has to be for Hamer.

We will struggle without JCS as well

why will we struggle???? JCS gives us a nice balance but Hyam and Rose are both excellent replacements with lots of experience.

Let Sheff U worry about us , not us about them, remember we are 4th in the league on merit.

and from the manager....

We have some situation with Robin Olsen coming with some rib/muscle problem and we still assess him for the game, Oli McBurnie has had some close contact with person with covid and he is in isolation and cannot start with us before the next game

I see Don Goodman is slating the Sheff U players calling them disgraceful and needing to sharpen up. I tell Goodman to stfu and leave them alone until after Saturday. Don “Coven’ry” Goodman you twat

And why ? Strachan had this thing about playing Dion Dublin England’s number two centre-forward to Alan Shearer at the time at centre-half with Moldavan in his place up front fucking up our forward line at a stroke.
Dublin only ever played for England as a CB.

He’s said that JCS has been training and doing extra bits to strengthen/look after the Achilles so he might be ok. Although SkyBlueBeliever is usually pretty reliable. He’s also said that Waggy is training but only doing no contact training so I doubt he is very close

I think JCS will travel with the squad.

This is probably the first time in a while that I've felt we should be going into this really looking for a win, but it another one of those places where i just feel we always have an off day.

Moore
Hyam Fadz Rose
Kane Sheaf Hamer Dabo
O'Hare
Gyok Godden

Wilson, Dacosta, Kelly, Allen, Jones, Waghorn, Walker

Assuming JCS is out. Might put Pask on the benchahead of Jones just for cover.

1-1.

Agreed with that although doesn't sound like Waghirn is fit enough yet. So maybe Pask instead of Waghorn

I don’t think Pask would be considered for first team now
