I was in the centre section that day also and the crush was awful, walking out after I could barely walk, I had pins and needles in my legs as we were packed so tight in there, and anyone in there that day must of thought after the disaster two years later there but for the grace of god go IWe were in that end for the 87 Quarter Final - and it was rammed.
I was held up by a Motorway accident so arrived at the ground at about 10 past 3. I ran into the central section but realised how packed it was and turned around and made my way to the marginally less full side.
If there had been people behind me (as happened two years later), I'd have been pushed into that crush.
Didn't think anything more of it at the time, but certainly did two years later.
I feel insulted!!🫣
Wednesdehhhh have us down as a Cat D fixture, so I would expect £36
His current side kick off at the same time so I doubt itApparently Fadz is going to be in with the away fans for this. Think he deserves another rendition on the day?!
I will double check with my source! (did wonder when I read his message)His current side kick off at the same time so I doubt it

I’ve just read - what a real shameI will double check with my source! (did wonder when I read his message)
Edit: Fadz is out injured for the rest of the season - hence, he'll be at the Sheff Wed game.
Anyone else remember being there in the night game in 84 in the FA cup when we lost 3-2I was in the centre section that day also and the crush was awful, walking out after I could barely walk, I had pins and needles in my legs as we were packed so tight in there, and anyone in there that day must of thought after the disaster two years later there but for the grace of god go I
Just got ours. Always enjoy going to Hillsborough.
Same here!I was in the centre section that day also and the crush was awful, walking out after I could barely walk, I had pins and needles in my legs as we were packed so tight in there, and anyone in there that day must of thought after the disaster two years later there but for the grace of god go I
I remember going once and the game got abandonedIt's a fucking ballache, always freezing cold even when it's 20+ degrees, 1 little hatch to serve the bottom tier and 1 for the top tier, leaky roof, shit view, cramped
I was at that one. The rain on the journey up was horrendous. Think it was abandoned after about 20 minutes.I remember going once and the game got abandoned
That's just the initial allocation isn't it? I'm hoping we get some more, wanted to get travel sorted before I bought mine lol
We'll get the lower tier as wellThat's just the initial allocation isn't it? I'm hoping we get some more, wanted to get travel sorted before I bought mine lol
2,464What was the initial allocation?
They appear to have lowered the away allocation again this season. WBA & Sunderland both got 3.8K.Will get another 1600 circa. Lower tier. Be great to fill that end again - we owe them aswell.
Have the club announced we sold the initial? Or is it that they've not opened another block yet
Lets hope so. Remember WBA away and they forget to announce they had released more tickets which then sold out and everyone was waiting for the extra tickets to go on sale.Sold out the initial allocation.
Ha right on cue , great effortPanic over.
I was at both - Stoke was much worse in my view. When we scored I was squashed against the barriers with feet off the floor; very dangerously overcrowdedI was behind the goal and moved to the right of the goal in 1987 too and it was rammed. From memory, Stoke was worse as I was picked up off my feet in the surges on the terraces.

I'm not surprised, I went to the Friday night cup game and it was just a joke. I love Hillsborough as it still has something of an aura but the reality is the Leppings Lane end should have been demolished 30 years ago. The lower tier has only really been used again regularly over the past 10 years, it was mostly empty during the 90s and 00s.
As a short bloke, it's absolutely shite for standing up in.I'm not surprised, I went to the Friday night cup game and it was just a joke. Yeah totally agree. Cup game i was upper tier and will be this season but the league game I was lower and it was bloody dangerous.I'm not surprised, I went to the Friday night cup game and it was just a joke.
