Sheffield Wednesday at it again (3 Viewers)

I thought the way it was promoted was nonsensical and irresponsible scaremongering, I regarded it as nothing but a well made dystopian drama. Were you still rather young when it was aired?

Why am i not surprised? 18.

Top film - made me feel so depressed afterwards though
Very well made film. Hands down the most depressing thing I’ve ever watched. Takes a few days (at least) to get it out of your head.

I lived in Sheffield for a few years in the ‘90s and always found the Wednesday fans I met to be more rounded. The vibe from Blades fans was often (not always) agro, bitterness and negativity. Watched random games at both grounds. Hillsborough felt much better, even taking into account that Wednesday were in a much better place then.

Got to admit that the recent antics by some Owls fans have been pretty dire.

If the government says there is a crisis I usually feel sure there isn't.

I was more concerned at the time about paying my mortgage. 😁

Did anybody else see it at school?
I would have been in my late 20s when it was shown on BBC. Scared the life out of me and quickly made me realise that living in an industrial area like the Midlands would lead to a near zero chance of survival. Need to live somewhere as remote as the Outer Hebrides (or similar) Think I could survive on a diet of fish, porridge and malt whisky for a while 🍷🙄

I've got several stories about our support and misuse of pyro.
I think Wednesday are fucking bell ends but not sure what youre trying to prove with these sort of posts?
Just Internet titlle tattle and point scoring really
On a train? Let’s see it then

Just find it funny that “Just a few bad eggs” FC are causing another issue yet again

I've seen our support get pubs evacuated because of pyro.
Never seen that sort of pyro on a train, but I have seen trains flooded with transport police because of the carry on.
And someone posted in the match thread Friday that one of our support got lifted for showing a picture of George Baldock to the Sheffield support so we're on shaky ground really

Theyare racist bastards and we need to keep a light a light shining on that but the rest is just hypocrisy

I find this very hard to believe

Think we’d have seen a lot more of it on social media and/or the club would have put a message out

Not something that would happen without a mass hysteria

Cov fan just been busted for showing a picture of Sam Baldock to the home crowd on his phone.

Congratulations on your deserved incoming ban. 👍🏻

No idea if it happened or not but isTommo a poster I trust? Definitely, despite his curious views on the ticketing system!

There were some lads in front if us showing a phone and I assumed they were saying we're videoing you to the ones chucking coins but if it was our side then I saw who was responsible if it was right near the end. They weren't very old so if it was, probably haven't thought through the repercussions.

They have idiots. We have idiots. Their idiots do it in front of a camera a lot more often than our idiots do.

It 100% happened. He was probably school age, was approached by a couple of stewards but that’s all I saw. This was at HT.

Now i know I make up a lot of shit, this isn’t one of those times.

In that case he is very lucky that it was a couple of stewards who spotted him and not a few of their lads as he would have been treated to a deserved shooing

I can't stand Sheff Utd but would never even cross my mind to bring George Baldock into conversation so fuck knows how some peoples minds work

Nah, I know. Lower than a snails piss. The boy was on the back row, sat down, so the malice was pretty half hearted. Whether someone had pointed it out and reported it, despite the aggressive ‘don’t grass’ culture, I don’t know.

People completely lose their minds while losing.
