Iā€™m a big fan of Shipley and think he will have something to offer this season. But he was miles off the pace first half. Looked nervous, gave the ball away almost Everytime. Absolutely the correct call to get him off.

That time when I was 9 and got a stomach upset after eating too much alphabet spaghetti.

Also amazing when it spells out diarrhoea, a word I didn't even realise I knew I could spell correctly.

If you give an infinite number of monkeys an infinite amount of alpabetti spaghetti they will eventually shit out the complete works of Shakespeare.

Shipley was ā€œhauledā€ off at 1-1 within fifteen minutes of the second half it was 1-3 and our midfield was being overrun.

I think we miss Kelly in the centre of the park, his experience and calmness is desperately needed, as we are still a young side.

Plus he never gives the ball away.

I don't think you will find many fully formed spaghetti letters coming out of a monkeys arse after that, but you are welcome to have a check want!

Anyway where is mr_monkey when he is being talked about?

Shipley needs time to see if heā€™ll adapt at this level. Heā€™s started 3 of his 4 seasons as a pro behind the curve and developed his strengths to be an effective player in L2 and L1. What he hasnā€™t done is develop his weaknesses, tackling, speed and consistent passing accuracy, so Champ maybe a division too high for him. That said, I found it a very odd decision to finally start him in his best position against Bournemouth. They are so quick and their tempo is awesome. He was always on for a hiding to nothing.
He needs to do a bit of work on his right foot as well, he's very one dimensional. There was a moment in the first half where he'd got himself into a decent position and had an attacker ahead of him, he needed to try and play him in right footed but just couldn't do it so played it behind the player and it was lost.
