There is a chap at Fargo village that designs and makes custom CCFC mugs (and other Midlands teams too, hiss boo :)), got myself one celebrating the Bayern Munich game a few weeks ago 'cos I was there all them years ago.

I too was there :)

I thought there would be a new wave of optimism on here from attendees ? Obviously not ! I ask in all seriousness, have Wasps got a club store at the Ricoh now and is it well stocked ? Personally I think the only way forward is for CCFC to have their merchandise back where they are playing. It was just after a good win that I spent the most money in there for the kids in days of old !

They have, I think it only opens on Wasps match day. I could be wrong about that though

Also only use a proportion of it surely they could share the shop and share the rent?

If they need a shop nearby why not rent the old Johnson's in Tesco, it seems to me that the commercial people at the club have no idea. The new shirt should be on sale when you go in to renew your season ticket and with a nice offer to combine the two but no doubt it will go on sale about November.

We have had to wear the old yellow away shirt this season a few times, so maybe they could also offer a third shirt as well as the new home shirt? Buy a new shirt get a free ticket for the first home game of the season as already posted and maybe buy a season ticket get a free shirt? The free shirt offer could be just for the third shirt?

There's so much they can do, they have a team of marketing people so what's stopping them.

I assume the team of marketing people are called 'Sales Prevention Officers'.

To be fair this has been going on long before SISU got here. I've always through we should have them in stock as soon as the season ends so people can buy them over the summer when you're more likely to wear a thin short sleeved shirt.

If they have a marketing team they are either incompetent beyond belief or there is a cashflow / money issue that stops them doing anything.

Not everything costs money though, even Sky Blue Sam pimping around Gallagher on a nice day handing out Ticket Vouchers or something

Can't stand the way Fisher wobbles on about revenue streams then on match day you can't even buy a scarf. Even small clubs have a big summer launch of the new kit. Won't build our hopes up about ours though. Probably get ten extra large away shirts in the shop a week after Christmas.

If it was me I'd have at least 2 of these out on match days:

If there's nowhere to keep them at the Ricoh (surely if one of the halls wasn't in use between matches Wasps would let them use it as storage without charge?) then just tow them back to Ryton between games.

Added advantage that they could easily be taken out to other events such as the Godiva fest.

I know what you mean, the stand they have for Merch is awful, I was hoping to buy the fa cup final DVD on retro day..... Which was advertised on the club website as being on sale on that game only to be told that I can only buy it at Gallagher! I think if they made the retail side bigger by using those vans and putting one on each side of the ground outside the turnstiles and actually selling replica shirts on match days then the club will make a killing! The amount of potential is endless and if cash flow should not be a problem but as with everything that SISU do, it's easier said than done!

It's already busier the the Gallagher park megastore.
Two of these units and access to the Ricoh ticketing is all we need at the moment.

The Gallagher one is in a really poor location the shop needs to be much nearer to the ground they should have bought the old Rowleys Green club and turned it into a shop offices and supporters club but I guess the former owners wanted paying for it!

Or that it has been sold already.

Marketing team with nothing to sell. New stadium team with no land for a stadium. Commercial team that has brought in hardly any sponsorship. And until recently we had a manager that couldn't manage very well.

At least we are consistent.

cobblers fans reckon its still full of gear so it could well be. the way the locals are im surprised it hasnt been nicked and painted white so they can sell chips out of it at local car boot sales

Isn't this the sort of thing the SCG should be working on rather than bickering about the trust and articles Les Reid has written? Fishers at the meeting, not hard to ask him why its been left full of stock at Sixfields and not brought back to Ryton for use on match days.

As its been left, it made me wonder if Northampton own it and we borrowed it.

its the same van they brought in for the chelsea game and was parked behind the tesco stand for 3 or 4 years before the move so i would imagine its ours unless we sold it to northampton in some strange deal
