Should be Plenty of Tickets for Wembley (1 Viewer)

Seen a few people on here disappointed they did not get Spurs tickets.

Well there is a possibility of Wembley not once but twice.

Good news is that there should be plenty of tickets. As we all know there are loads of supporters who refuse to go to home games because it gives money to sisu.

Now sisu will get their greedy little mits on a large percentage of every Wembley ticket sold.

I assume the principled ones will be staying at home if we get there.

I want to know if that councillor woman got a season ticket the day Marlon King left. Bet she didn't.

Bet she gets a ticket for Wembley though even if we are not there!

Though you meant fa cup my old friend lol.

Robins is good but not that good. If we did win the F A Cup Don will still be saying we would have done as well with Thorny.

Once again the sober voice of reality pours cold water on my thread.

It was kind of serious to be fair. If (which I don't believe) people really refused to go its time to abandon the stupidity. There should be 15,000 tomorrow but there won't be.

Assuming you mean Sisu effect. I think there are but how many who knows .I'm in the "The sooner they go the better",and would have done anything to try and hasten it .As yet they hav'nt been able to stop me going, moving ground could be a tipping point but we know that would be suicide,in that scenario they might ultimately bannish me.I would have thought the last couple of games were capable of an extra 2K.,but its not happening ,two extra with me tommorow ,brothers who were pretty much solid last year but losing the love and economics have played a part also.

Where have 5000 fans just disappeared to.and they aren't rushing back either for some reason.saying that we've lost 11000 fans since 2006 when we averaged 21500. Its strange as we are now finally an exciting team

It's hard to entice them back once they've gone to be honest,if we were in the top 2 we'd get a few back. Sisu have killed the support.

We may be winning but we are still only mid table. Once we are in the top 6 more people will see we have something to play for.

Just as it takes a lot for (long term) supporters to finally give up, it takes (probably) double that in success to encourage them to return.

Once you have lost the enthusiasm to go, it takes a lot to reverse that. You don't want to be hurt again, so you don't re-committ so easily.

It will take a sustained period of success to encourage those fans back.

However, in Mark Robins, I believe that we have the manager to drive the players ( if he can keep them) to achieve this. No one, players or fans, should be despondent if the fans don't return instantly........they will return, when they believe that it is actually happening, rather than thinking that there is just hope.

In MR we trust!

I agree with Burbage, it's a routine of not just the game, (although mainly) but a day out. Evenually people stop going to the game after paying good money and getting nothing back for 30+, they decide to spend there time and money doing something else.

People will come back when they see sucsess and can enjoy the day. Make it easier with a train station etc and that would also help.

Just pointing out that we can only go to wembley once this year and that's in jpt. I'm sure the play off final is at old Trafford this year

It's not really strange at all, once someone gets out of the habit of coming it's hard to win them back. This time of year when it's cold, wet, money is tight and there are lots of things that need doing it's even harder. When people have finally got fed up after a decade + of supporting the city doing well for a few games isn't going to win them all back, it will happen but it's going to take time.

Also the fact we are potentially a few days away from a winding up order is a massive turn off, we can't tell people it's all wonderful, come back with a straight face when the club is in perhaps the worst situation it's ever been in. We are also about to lose our star striker and while I'm very hopeful it's not going to stop our great form you can easily forgive those people who think out current form is a flash in the pan and it's all about to fall apart.

You also have the problem that the atmosphere is kinda terrible at the moment due to everyone being scattered around, as the crowds increase it becomes more attractive again and that makes the crowds increase which makes it more attractive again and the crowds increase. We've been in a negative circle where the reverse of that was true and thankfully now it's going the other way but it takes time.

The club could do alot worse than ringing up every former season ticket holder and giving them 2 free tickets to X game, that will bring alot of people in for that game, make a good atmosphere and get people into the habbit of coming again.

edit - and assuming there is room after doing that they should give every current season ticket holder 2 free tickets to the same game to bring new people and avoid upseting the most loyal.
