Was thinking there what rules have the FA in place for buying football clubs? look at blackburn and ourselves both owners selling assests and not reinvesting both clubs go down aswell. I think if someone is buying a club the FA should ask the buyers to prove they can invest in the club as in player transfers and rent wages ect for the first 2-3 like basically you cant buy a club unless you can cover the wages ect and rent if thats the case and have a transfer budget every year of minimum 3 million up from championship to premier league. that way then give club a fresh start knowing they are going to get new players and expenses are covered its madness how blackburn owenrs and sisu have got away with wrecking good clubs like ours while FA sit there and do sweet fuck all!

The FA wont say shit, and the Venkys were not given a chance by the Blackburn fans. Actually Blackburn would have stayed up if they had more support from their fans, they were a disgrace. They had good enough players to stay up but the fans were hell bent on getting Kean the sack. Talk about a small town mentality, from the videos of their fans it reminded me of a scene from deliverance.

Surely football should pay for itself and not be reliant on rich individuals to fund it? Seems to work in Germany! PUSB

The problem is that the FA don't have control of the game, the Premier League and the Football League control the game in this country. They both have a 'fit and proper person test' for owners but the problem is that it's neither fit or proper.

You're right. The professional bodies should be seen to do something but their largely inept and toothless.
Money rules and tv applies its own rules to suit.
A recent case was the k.o for the cup final.
Until football grows some balls and earns a bit of integrity and respect no one is going to come clean over club ownership and any tiny irregularity that may have helped procure the club in the first place.

No club has a divine right to have money spent on it. Especially not a club like ours, which is losing money hand over fist.

The reason I dislike SISU is not that they aren't throwing money at high transfer fees/wages, but that they seem to be taking no positive steps towards opening up new revenue streams, or making more money out of the existing ones.

Selling our players for example - when was the last time we got a fair price for a player?

As much as we think SISU are poor owners, they're not doing anything wrong, at least not in the eyes of the FA.

You're right, supporting a poor manager is guaranteed to keep you up....

im not saying pile loads of money like some clubs have into the club buy all round throw the dice and hope you get promoted, majority of football clubs in the UK im not sure how many are actually mamking any sort profit every month but why buy a club or go into business where you need to spend a bit to make income but the spending in football is good players and staff merchandise ect spend wisely keep fans on your side show them progress being made and they will stick with u in long run they will spend more and eventually you start seeing turn around. its a long process but sisu went totally backwards i feel and ruined the club but fa just dont care!

it's time................, long overdue, for FIFA to step in and get the beautiful game back into shape,
the FA continue to be a weak and inept body and will only act when FIFA say something,
Sepp sits in his ivory tower, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
