Tommy, there ain't gonna be a new stadium in Coventry. Why some utter delusional's on here even entertain the idea, given not only the evidence to the contrary, but also the fact we don't need one because we have one, is beyond me.

How many go to away games normally? The nearer to Coventry the more that go. The bigger the game the more that will go. This is only an average though.
If we are winning more go. Our supposed home games are more like away games. Many of us won't go whatever. They might get 3,000 of us if we start doing well. B ut if we start losing we could go below 1,000. Some clubs in Div 3 hardly bring any fans. Lets try a freezing midweek Jan game if we are losing games. I would not be surprised if we get a gate of less than 1,000 if we stay at Shitfields this season.
These low crowds are during good weather. Some will have gone out of curiosity. Some out of needing to go to games at the start of the season after having a few months without games. We will see in a month or so what size the crowds will dwindle to.

Not even sure why it matters if more go, as it's still obvious even more would go in the right city!
The very same stadium that Sisu could well sell on together with the football club to new owners, having made a tidy profit, and then the new owners would charge the football club rent. Cos that's the way businesses run these days.

Based on data are you correct... what was the respective attendances at the two home games?
Tjey will mever be able to build a stadium and sell tje club on for a profit.. Thats the whole point!
Do the math.. Even if they build a cheap stadium for 30mill , plus the money they have already invested ( its no where near 60 mill, but lets presume its around 20 mill ) plus the losses over the next 4-5 years - say 10 mill.. Thats 60 million in hard cash that they are down.. That's without investing in the squad to get us promoted & it presumes thhat they dont run into any build problems or go over budget on the stadium
So they are AT LEAST 60 million down, and we are in league 1 , championship maybe, with a cheap stadium.. Are we going to be worth 70+ million? Just doesnt add up

I agree it's early, but he's going to really struggle to hit 7,000 judging by the first two gates.
I worked out the income based on 3,000 in one of my earlier blog post and the amount left to spend on players wages was around £1.3million under FFP. You are looking at £850,000 at the minute if the gates don't improve. If FFP is enforced of course, which it probably won't be.
Yeovil got promoted on a wage bill of around £1m, but they are exception, not the rule. They were the only example that anyone put forward of a club doing well on very limited wage bills. Kuper & Szymanski (in Soccernomics) calculated that league position is dependent on wage rates in around 85% of all cases over 50 years or so.
