Bumped into Trevor Peake in Toys r Us; must have been around 1990.
Had a chat with Dave Bennet at the Webb Ellis pub in Rugby on a couple of occasions.
Queued behind Colin Hendry at a petrol station.
Met Kevin Drinkell somewhere but can't for the life of me remember where.

When I was a kid my best mate was the vicars sin in the village I lived in and Jimmy Hill was friends with the people who lived next door to the Vicarage, used to always go horse riding round the village.

Got us a tour of the Connexion and to meet the players, was a big fan of Tommy English at the time for some reason, so very impressed!

On the same summers day in the mid 90's in Stratford saw Dion Dublin pushing a pram and Cobi Jones and Roy Wegerle walking round together eating ice creams.

Oggy used to go in the Old Mill in Baginton for a drink quite often ( used to see Dave Moorcroft in there too).

Oggys daughter worked there briefly behind the bar, kept dropping glasses though.

Product of nature and nurture there.

A few years back a few of us were coming out of Rios in Leamington and we bumped into Kevin Kyle eating a kebab. We told him we were Cov fans and had a chat to him. He was shit faced and as far as I could tell he’d been there on his own but we hadn’t noticed him inside.

Was going to offer to share a taxi but he said Wardy was picking him up (Elliot Ward). We’d been to the game that day so I said “don’t get Wardy out at this time as he played 90 minutes today” but sure enough Wardy turned up and picked him up.

I walked into the City Arms last summer and Maddison was using the urinals whilst talking to his mate who was at the sinks. James was in a position slightly half turned whilst doing two things at once. Boring story but I saw his nob.
Half Turned! Like the B in LGBT half turned?

Saw Kevin Kyle a few times in the Bookies in Bedworth, insane amounts of money going onto the roulette machines.

Willie Carr lived near us when I was about 6 and parked his car outside our house sometimes. Thinking back this is amazing as we lived in an estate - footballers nowadays wouldn't be seen dead in such a lowly area.

I used to deliver papers to Terry Yorath (my regular round) and Jimmy Hill (occasionally - an adjoining round but not my regular one). On Sundays, Terry took every paper so it was always a relief to drop them all off. He left a £1 note as a tip one Christmas, which was a week's wage for my morning round.

Lived in the same road as Jimmy Hill - Whitemoor Road in the 60s, Willie Carr lived in a semi in Woodcote Avenue when I was about 7/8 just behind the family house. Met Peter Shilton in the open air swimming pool, Cobi Jones outside Budgens with my kids, John Salako and Marcus Hall. All in Kenilworth.

I was at Warwick Races and Kenny Sansom came in, put loads on a horse, watched it lose and left.
The day after beating Villa in the FA Cup I was walking around Warwick and saw Noel Whelan with his girlfriend pushing a baby in a buggy and had a chat with him about the game. He was as happy as me with the result despite the fact he missed the game through suspension

Played in goal once against Micky Quinn in a 5-a-side game when I was about 13 years old. My dad’s team were short on numbers so they stuck me in goal. Also served Robbie Keane, Jordan Willis and Conor Thomas when I worked at the Bullring in Birmingham around 2012.

We were house hunting in the late nineties and went to view a house in Bagington Village. It was owned by a young bloke in his early thirties and his wife who were both obviously from Liverpool. Assuming every Scouser would have an allegiance, I asked him if he was red or blue. He did tell me which team he supported but I can’t remember now which he said. Their reason for selling the house was that they were moving back home. I told him I was a City fan but he didn’t seem keen on talking football. We liked the house, put an offer in which was accepted. Later on I kept having the feeling that I knew this chap. On speaking to the estate agent later I asked him if the owner was an ex footballer which was confirmed. It was Paul Edwards who having finished with Wolves was presumably retiring from the game. For various reasons we never bought the house so can’t say we ever owned a footballer’s house.

I used to see Richard Shaw every Thursday in Tesco Banbury when I was younger. He always had a basket never a trolly.
I served his pizza at some point in the 90s in Banbury's pizza hut. I remember being tempted to pretend Ron/Strachan has just called and said he wasn't allowed it.

Dave Bennett and Andy Blair - Pubs in Nuneaton most weekends.

Dave Bennett is always in the Attleborough Arms. He’s mates with my girlfriends Dad (although not sure how much her Dad actually likes him) and he’s coming to a baby party we’re having in a few weeks. I’ve warned the venue!

I’ve been on holiday with James Collins and Jamie Paterson a fair few times (separately) and used to play football with a lot of players who were in the youth team a number of years ago. My favourite is probably an impromptu heavy night out with Doyle when McSheffrey around 10 years ago. My most embarrassing was getting absolutely battered and begging Gunnarrson not to leave.

Also saw John O’Shea at the races a few weeks ago; nice chap and buying rounds for the pub!

Claus Jorgensen in McD's in Leam on quite a few occasions!

Was in the queue to Grease back in 78? with Ian Wallace - he got in we didn't so had to go and watch The Hills have Eyes instead - still never seen Grease.

Good few years ago now walking across a lane in Stratford - some dick comes racing down nearly taking me out - was about to have a bit of a go and saw it was Dion! He did wave an apology.

Mick Ferguson at Cannon Park Sainsburys in the late 1970s. He was good enough to give me his autograph.

Andy Blair in the street somewhere in Hillfields (and no it wasn't what you might think). Very nice guy.

Cyrille Regis at Warwick University in 1992 (when he was keen to tell everyone about God :spitoutdummy:). I can't say as I liked him because he was slagging off the club good and proper.

Michael Gynn and Dave Bennett in Hong Kong when they were playing together in the Soccer Sixes (maybe 2007?). Michael was super nice.

Saw Cyrille in Bobby Browns club in Brum. John Williams came to a barbecue at work, he was going out with a woman who worked for me. Top bloke, I must have bored him shitless.

Used to play snooker with Tony Sheridan as he used to be staying/lodged at our neighbours house by the Forum. Even managed to talk him into an away match at Blackburn when I was driving and fair play to him he came! @ocillatewildly will remember that one! Peter N’Dlovu stayed there too but was very quite at the time and kept himself to himself.
Know Dion quite well as he used to live opposite me in Stratford-definitely one of the good guys-don’t understand all the stick he got but goes with the territory I guess.

I once served Elliot Ward and Ellery Cairo at a bar in Leam on a Tuesday night after a game. Ward was drinking vodka red bull and Cairo brandy.

Leon Clarke sat with us in a box at Walsall when he was injured and Walsall dicked us 4-0. As he walked / hobbled to the box we heard him say to his missus "I hope they ain't weirdos"...
Callum Wilson was in the Coronation Working Men's club a couple of xmas's ago with all his family.
David Pipe used to smash a friend of an ex-missus so used to bump into them when out in town. He was an absolute bellend.
Jordan Clarke outside his folks house in Coundon.
