You make yourself look silly by titling the thread “signing in 48hrs” as if it’s a done deal rather than just that there’s a player we’re interested in. Under promising and over delivering is always better than the opposite.

No just cash. It’s impossible for us to have registration constraints during a transfer window under they’re made by us. Clubs can add and remove players at will during a window.

Based on Jimmy’s we are talking to a CM and RB in spite of the Chelsea loan implying with have funds just limited so we are having to be pragmatic

Which presumably means there’s money in the pot. With Sheaf being out for 5-6 weeks, signing a RW just isn’t a priority for this window.

The spectre of FFP is also probably looking too somehow. We’re operating on smaller revenues than the big boys in this league on parachute payments.

Think it’s just that, we have to be pragmatic with signings here sadly. If sheaf isn’t injured we definitely could have justified but without we need a CM and a RB as rumoured

Sounds sensible. Only problem is if we're going with 3 CBs, which looked decent yesterday, then we've only got 3 of them unless you draft bidwell in but would it be right to say he can only really cover Kitching?
