If someone is “ flying in “ , could we use BTA as a make weight ……. Just tell them bollox , like he’s a gifted striker with blistering pace , great ball control & superb heading ability …….. surely we aren’t the only suckers out there ?

There plenty of positives. We are a couple of players away from being pretty good. Dovin is a great prospect and will hopefully get better as the season progresses. Kitchen was great today. Really commanding. Thomas is another real prospect EMC and Wright back soon. We will turn it around.

We need a bit of bite in midfield. I think Frank is going to be a great manager. He is tatically astute. Players will want to come and play for us/him. He will know what is required and I am pretty sure Doug will back him.

Personally I am going to stop coming on this site for a while. The negativity is so depressing.

Another forward? Fucking hell surely not 😂 Who's running this Football club, we need central midfielders, centre backs and cover for Milan and we ate getting more forwards 😂😂😂

Can't make this shit up.
Easier to sell on forwards and attract more money. All part of Doug’s plan

I think Tavares will be on his way. Kid needs regular game time and he’s not gonna get it here. Lampard doesn’t fancy him I don’t think. League 1 would suit him I think.

Kid 😂😂 He’s 24 in a few weeks.
he’s a kid to me 🤣
which is something I was gonna say - if he hasn’t really broken through by now to be a regular it’s not gonna happen is it. The injury him him hard, and he did well against Man Utd but he needs to play football.

I copped a bit of Lampards interview on the Pink'un YouTube channel earlier & he was hinting that the squad needed help on the wings (as well as other areas)

I wouldn’t want a billionaire owner if it means thousands of the internet’s worst and dumbest people start claiming us as their team, no.
If we ever get successful we will have all these people round the country claiming to be cov fans , well except for Sunderland and Leicester.

We need help all over the pitch to the point I don’t now care what position it is. As long as they improve our competitiveness.

Never wise to come on here after a defeat, especially a last minute one.

It's utter carnage and you have new threads, pretty much all saying the same thing, coming out of your ear-holes.

Doyle was never an option and certainly not for what we wanted to pay for him. Leicester offered £10 million and Man City turned it down.

Plus Man City for now still see him as potential for them.
