You should be a proper Journo Domo...
That was not Simon and Doug having a chat, and 'decks' were never mentioned.

Right at the end Jordan talks about the Vik sale to Sporting and how we cashed in the sell-on early, I know we did receive a payment of some sort 🤔 but it wasn’t the total amount was it ?

I'm pretty sure that we got paid a bonus for him scoring a certain amount of goals

They had a option to turn the 15% sell-on fee to 10% if they paid a certain amount at the end of his first season in Portugal. Which is what they did.

Doug came across really well in that interview.

For perspective have a lot of friends from University who support Southampton they always say that he comes across as transparent compared to most owners. Doing that fans forum after sacking Robins was one of the most ballsy things I've seen and owner do and something I really admire.

He's a business man first and foremost but I do genuinely think he cares and enjoys running the club. The amount of work he's clearly done on the backend of things and commercially is fantastic basically modernised the club from top to bottom over a few years.

Yes I think the changes in the club are systemic, he has not just given it a lick of fresh paint.
