Really?
A cursory glance on the football market website will give 5 pages of currently unattached/ out of contract goalkeepers!
Not to mention those we were considering when we opted for Moore, and the lad from Brighton we were rumoured to be interested in. (Chris Walton)
It certainly ain't difficult to find them!

You think Walton would sign to be number 2? (or Moore, if Walton is better)

Wilson is cheap backup, who did an OK job when called upon last year. We can't afford to spend bigger money on a backup keeper when we have more pressing issues to address

I thought he was a bit shaky preseason and then in the first half of the first match. Did well today.

That is why you have a pre season and even the first 4 or 5 games can be misleading about where teams will finish.

Outstanding tonight. We haven't had a keeper of this ability for some time,

Does everything so well - comes for crosses, quick off his line, good distribution.

I suppose we haven't really seen his shot stopping tested yet in terms of shots from distance or shots in the corner, all of his (excellent) saves so far have been one on ones.

Looks a class signing.

He’s made great saves in all 3 games

Thought his save from distance (Garbutt was it?) was excellent last night. Ball swerved and he was going the wrong way but tipped it over.

Yeah I know, but like I said they've all been one on ones. Not knocking him at all, he's been brilliant.
If he’s saving 1 on 1’s have no worries with shots at range he’s different gravy to Marosi

I saw Moore in pre-season, and he looked out of sorts to me. Thought Wilson looked more confident.
However, judging on the Blackpool performance (not just saves) he was terrific. Positioning, coming for the ball, distribution were all excellent. Did not look like the same guy from pre-season games. May it continue.

When was the last time a goalkeeper won a game for us like Moore did last night , with a string of saves over the duration of the game , they do say a goalkeeper can be worth 10 to 15 points in a season

Have to admit I was concerned by his performances in pre-season. I guess even keepers have to get up to match sharpness - particularly when they've not played much in a couple of years.

Looking at the keeper Sheff Utd had in goal yesterday they've let the wrong man leave.

Happy for him getting in there but it still really annoys me that they now do these based off the useless WhoScored ratings. If you look at the WhoScored page for our game on Tuesday they have Richard Keogh scoring a 7.0, which to anyone who saw the game is utterly hilarious.

I think Moore has been great in his first three games but in the same way we're not supposed to rip into players before they've played 10 games aren't we supposed to not crown them emperors of the city until at least then.

He had some handling issues and spilled the ball too many times in pre-season. Hopefully that was just his rustiness and it won't be an issue moving forward but it could also just be that he's had a good few games and not let the errors in yet.

I'm hoping for the former but still cautious of the latter.

I live in Sheffield now and speaking to some of the Blades up here they can’t understand why they let him go.

Surely they had an inkling that Ramsdale was going to be off and that they’d need to keep the money to balance the books a bit.

I watched them (SU) against WBA the other night, their GK was worse than Burge. I think they are going to struggle this year.

Still early days, but I'm encouraged by Moore's displays thus far. What I like is his ability to claim crosses and distribution through long kicks which go upfield and not out into touch. He seems to know when to play out from back and when to go long. I watched the pre-season friendly against Sevilla and will admit I had my doubts about his abilities. Hope he keeps it up.
