The groups can talk till the cows come home but one of the following has to give or is their other solutions to add?

1. SISU give up their court case
2. WASPS give in and let City play even though they are involved in legalities
3. SISU sell the club to another consortium
4. EFL give in and let the city play out of the city
5. The golden share is given to another consortium by the EFL

Of those choices, as it stands, don't think (1) or (3) are at all likely. (2) would be best case currently, but think (4) is what the club are gearing up for - being its everyone elses fault.

2 is the most likely outcome and should be the one all fans groups are pressuring for instead of pissing about trying to force a sale to Hoffman. 4 would be the 'plan b'. Can't see there being any chance for any of the other options.

Just heard on sky that Blackpool may not get a points deduction? DIdnt quite catch reason why! SISU will have grounds to sue the EFL :joyful::cyclops::joyful::joyful:

Southampton certainly will have grounds for legal action if Blackpool don't get a deduction. Absolute farce if they get away with it.

I would think there is a plan behind both sides in this. The only group that appears to have no plan is the EFL

I think there is a good chance of ccfc playing elsewhere next season, court actions continuing, sisu still the owners and the efl being as much use as a chocolate tea pot.

If 4 happens it'll be a disaster.

4 isn’t a condition from the EFL

I think it’ll be 2 but expanded. Wasps let us remain at the Ricoh but only with conditions. E.g. SISU not involving them with future legalities concerning x, y and z.

2, with 4 as an outsider.

Yep.

I think Wasps will blink. Though the EFL letter is a spanner in that works because it forces SISU to have an option away from the Ricoh (or it all to come to a head sooner)

As soon as Sisu have an alternative, it’s harder for them to play the “OMG you killed CCFC” card. Which makes Ricoh negotiations harder.

I wonder what the EFL would do if City just refused to answer. When would they actually take some action?

Also, when’s the decision on whether Sisu can appeal? That might move things along if it comes in before the end of the season.

None!
SISU will announce a temporary cessation of legal action due to losing the appeal decision next month while still reserving the right to further representations if appropriate at a future date.
WASP will agree a further 1 year extension as being the best deal in the circumstances as SISU have not outright dismissed any further legal actions altogether.

...and the cycle goes into repeat.
