No but I think that they now have sufficient funds ti ride the NOPM campaign by the stay away fans. It's pretty futile now

You speak of the 'stay away fans' as if they are the minority. They aren't.
The people going to Sixfields are letting everyone down. This is SISU moving a club so that they can blackmail a Council into handing over the Ricoh.
F*** that. You may not, but most of us, i.e the 'stay away fans' (90%) have morals, and know that this is not something we should support by handing over wads of cash to an immorally-run hedge fund.
I'm really proud of those who have stayed away - I'm glad so many people have morals. Anyone who can't see how awful SISU are is either on a wind-up or just has the same morals as they do.
Relegation, suing fans, charities and councils, and taking the club to Northampton, even though it would make more financial sense to accept the 400k rent offer at the Ricoh, is disgusting - there's no two ways about it.

I agree with most of that rich, but there IS no need to denigrate those that go.

People are happy to hand over wads of cash when we play Arsenal. Need to make up our minds here whether it is about money or not.
How much do you think it costs to run the club, week to week?
On the two occassions questions are raised re;- attending questionable games in some eyes, they just happen to coincide with the greatest/largest exposure to our problem .I think the NOPM or any other individual stance re attendance can live with that.

A b category academy costs c£1m so we will be contributing another £100k, plus VAT, medical, insurance, upkeep of Ryton, agent fees, scout networks, etc. we will also be paying off thorn, possibly still Boothroyd & players we've bombed out, plus all the non football staff wages, etc. losses will be a lot higher than £750k even without paying back loan providers

I agree Wingy however some people can't wonder why:thinking about:
so they are cutting off their nose to spite their face?
their fault for playing at northampton and no one elses......but hey like fisher said they have deep pockets and the really dont need 15-20,000 fans after all?
Fair point. I don't attend myself (although not following NOPM) just don't like the name calling of those that do.
No, I just think it is hypocritical slating those that go to Sixfields when these same people turn up at Arsenal, Barnsley (which is ny only game of the year so far), MK Done, etc. Just think that there is a lot of cheap talk by people who think they are better but then change their stance when a big game comes around. Every week at sixfields is a chance to raise publicity.
Imagine this:- a single game we fill sixfields and have twice as many outside waiting to get in. They could then congregate on the hill. Would that not send a message? Would send an even bigger message if we did it every week. If we took 15k to a 7k capacity ground they would have to look at other options like moving back to the Ricoh.
But, everyone would much sooner name call.

He said they had budgeted for the next 3 years at sixfields with low gates..this being the case they obviously dont need 15-20,000 that the ricoh would get if they were back there, but your a sisu lover and i imagine you get a buzz from watching gates of 1500-2000 at sixfields?
Where is the name calling? Oh yes on here none at the ground. Why dont we have just 15000 on the hill thats a far bigger message than filling the ground? But that would be devisive wouldn't it? If we follow your idea Sisu would buy Cardoza out extend Sixfields and never come back because you would be able to get 15000 in the ground
You wouldn't get 15000 on the hill.
7k in stadium rest outside would show that they are missing out on something. People are willing to do it when we play Arsenal so why not a home game(s). NOPM didn't work and has been more or less abandoned so why not try a different approach. People would see that we want to watch our team but are not being provided the facility to do so.
NOPM isn't a short term approach, whether it works or not won't be known until nearer the end of this charade. I also don't know of anyone who has abandoned it, obviously not everyone took this stand in the first place so saying things like it's over because lots went to Arsenal etc proves nothing in respect of NOPM.
Unless you know of loads of people of course, but they don't seem to post on here.
Sou you'd rather just keep doing something that isn't working in the hope that it one day does work or wipes the club out. Then we can all start again in the lower reaches of non league. I'm sorry, but that doesn't sound great to me.
Why is it different going to the Arsenal game than going to Sixfields anyway?
The reality is that none of us knows whether NOPM is working or not. Shitzu continue to fund the club as that is all that they can do in order to protect their investment.

What makes you think NOPM is not working and has been abandoned, with gates of 2,000 I think it is still on and is working. You wouldn't get 15000 on the hill.
