Edgy - you are an intelligent man and a proven supporter over many many seasons - why are you refusing to see the elephant that is - we have no fuckin ground to play at, we have no support, we have no income, we have no future and for what? What is the master plan that Sisu have? To get their own stadium or to get the Ricoh on the cheap?? There will be no club by the end of the season - surely you can see that unless there is some movement towards coming back to Coventry - the city that bears the clubs name!!
Pressley after tonights match:
"I have the support of the owners to bring the players in. I just can't get them through the door."
Move on to your next anti-Sisu rant.
For God's sake! They have been funding the Club for how long? Give us a break and please look at the bigger picture, we're not in a great position but that's not just down to the owners. Others are equally to blame for this debacle!
Listen to Steven Pressley interview with BBC CWR tonight.
Why is anyone surprised that we play a 16 year old kid and a midfielder, then a right back as our strikers?
We all know Sisu tell lies. There is no pot of gold at the end of their rainbow.
Anyone who gives them any support or credit wants locking up.
It will get worse. I would imagine Conor, Franck, John Fleck, Cyrus, pretty well all the squad would be looking to get away from here. As a few posters have said - we are a basket case of a club.
Elvis will go. I wouldn't blame him. He's performed a minor miracle.
Someone said on another thread, us fans have to up the protest. Are we all prepared to have a second season in Northampton?
Sixfielders, join the boycott.
Great idea, give the club even less money so they can spend even less on players so we can complain even more.

you can't deny those facts pal they are trueAnd you need to look at the facts and not make personal attacks on individuals. If only you had a *****
HELP
So what happened to them financing our stay in Northampton? Or was it just another lie to us?
They can gift the club money. They will not lose out as they are charging the club 2.5m a year in mismanagement fees and 1.2m interest payments. And once they take us back to Coventry they will be in profit with the skeleton squad we will have to get used to.

That's a bit dramatic Dale. It's widely recognised that Pressley has this bunch playing the best football City fans have witnessed in many a year. It's crumbling because of a long term injury to Wilson and Clarke being the c**t we always knew he was. Pressley admits he has the support of the owners but can't get players in. We've been unlucky and I feel sorry for Pressley and his squad.
cochese.....Great idea, give the club even less money so they can spend even less on players so we can complain even more.............................................................................................Him talkum heapum bigum sh**e.....um!
Ok I'll bite since you seem to go on about it like a broken record. Where did this £2.5m in management fees (I'm not childish enough to say mismanagement) and £1.2m in interest come from. I hope this is fact and not some figure you've calculated, or a historical figure from way back when the likes of Orange Ken were trying to run the club.
Financing our stay in Northampton is one thing. Funding the team when our funds come from ticket sales and thankfully a decent enough FA cup run is something different. That's your financial fair play in action.
You're right about the football we are playing. However, If Pressley is getting the support of our owners, why is it that he still struggles in the transfer market. From what I can see other teams don't seem to have the same problems as us in the transfer market. I read that we are interested in a player or that we are in talks or that we are monitoring. Other clubs just make an offer and then sit down with the player to offer them a good deal, why can't we do that? I've said it before that Joy said in her interview said that the squad would be strengthened and before the transfer window we were told that Pressley 6 or 8 targets (or something like that) so why are some on here moaning that Clarke has to go first? You're right though, we have been unlucky. Unlucky that we ever got this shower of shit as owners in the first place

@ cochese....I know! amazing isn't it. Why would SISU change the habit of a lifetime, Leopards, spots, and all that? The only way to have...(Or at least try to have) a good football team is to invest in players. This doesn't mean wait till the last 2 days of the window to see what s**t is left for SP to try and perform miracles with, after other teams who actually want to gain promotion have "Bought" This isn't going to heal itself buddy. We need to be playing in the top flight to be making decent money. The owners can't use the football club as "Chips" like in a casino, hoping to trust to luck, on the "Turn of a card" or "Spin of the wheel"...SISU want to spend pennies on a 4th rate footballer, and in return expect Lionel Messi performances. Finally, you're not a masochist by any chance are you? The reason I ask is, along with a few others on this forum, you seem to make extraordinary excuses for owners that have persistently shafted the fans, and people of Coventry on a daily basis for 7 years......Watch out pal. Brace yourself. Here they come again!
oh that one, sisu are doing a great repair job i see.You do know how we got into this mess in the first place don't you? Before SISU. Yes, there were owners before SISU. Owners spending beyond our means.

So will it always be someone else's fault? At what point in their tenure do they become responsible?
Have they saved money and or increased revenue by moving to Northampton?
I know Fisher says they were forced out, but I don't remember them being served with eviction notices do you?
He quotes those numbers from the last actual accounts CCFC/SISU/Otium filed.
I'm sure the numbers have changed since Orange Ken but these have yet to make it to companies house.

Sorry where exactly did Cochese say is was entirely somebody else's fault? He merely pointed out that aside from SISU, who everyone agrees are the main protagonists here, there were other people who also have some responsibility for the position we now find ourselves in, or did everyone miss that.
If we hadnt have been in such a financial mess thanks to Richardson and his cronies, we would own our own stadium, and we wouldnt have had to have sold our soul and club to the devil when we were in danger of going into admin. With the benefit of hindsight how must JE and Robinson regret that decision now.
He says he knows nothing of the charges put onto our club by SISU yet knows about the finances enough to blame CCC for our predicament.
ACL provided us with a ground to play in for 1.2m. We all say that was too much.
SISU charge our club 3.7m for ripping our club apart and taking it to Northampton. Is this value for money?

Sisu appear to not want to pay decent wages and contracts e.g dagnall
They don't seem bothered about getting out of this league the squad needed strengthening a month ago to have any chance of the playoffs
