exactly..so sisu had a poan that didnt work because council played a last ditch card to try kill us
and people like you love them for it lmao
Don't think anyone loves them for it by recognising SISU's plan was doomed from the start. Is this the wrongdoing by the council you're going on about? The council not going along with SISU's plan? I do hope SISU have a stronger case than you if it is otherwise this complaint is another plan set to fail.
its clear council did a lot of things wrong and i hope these 2 individuals get punished for that.
as long as it dont effect ccfc transfer budget then im all for it.
even if you hate sisu you must understand that council did alot of stuff wrong, and justice must be done!
the plan was not doomed from start though. underhanded ? sure
but it made council sell. they sold to wasps because they ddint want sisu to 100% beat them
CCC are not and never were whiter than white in this,, but what you have to understand they were faced with 2 different situations and were dealing with 2 different parties.. 1 Party, had broke an agreement, left the city and was taking the CCC through endless court cases. The other was a business that had meetings, had never disclosed minutes, acted properly and professionally while waiting the CCC decision.
In the end the decision came down to who they trusted and felt comfortable with to take over the Ricoh and the surrounding area and make progress with.. You have to take off the sky blue specs and know this is business nothing more nothing less. They had no trust or confidence in Sisu controlling anything to do with the city..
Now because you don't agree with them selling to Wasps (what cov fan does) should never stop you from understanding 1 party had the chance and more time than any other to buy the Ricoh in a fair and business like manner.. Sisu had time, to build bridges, trust and even friendship and take this club forward owning the ground or part of it.. Instead they went on a promotion push for 1 season without setting a plan if it failed,, buying the Ricoh was on a plan but only if promotion was gained...From that day of failure they have wanted money back and will kill this club to gain either a moral victory or financial..
Sisu now need to build a new ground , buy an existing one that is not being used or carry on regardless at the Ricoh, it must be very hard for them to watch Wasps be so active and fan friendly but that's life..
Preferring another shady hedge fund.

I find it wonderful that a SISU take this or that to court news article creates a bigger thread of discussion / bitching on here than when we do something productive with the footballing side.
Maybe they don't love them for it but they certainly turn a blind eye and/or are reluctant to even admit what has happened. Some even go so far as to praise the council as well.
We all want sisu to leave the club and one day they will. Sadly the council's actions will be felt for a long time after sisu finally leave us.
I dont prefer CCC, over Sisu or Wasps,, i just think CCC were pushed very hard into a corner and had to make a decision that was hated by 100% of the fans of the club and rightly so.. My opinion is the CCC stated they would sell, they made a business decision on two parties we know of and although all may have been the same in structure,, were acting differently when it came down to buying the stadium.. 1 wanted by going to court and 1 wanted it by paying the amount asked and paying back, which they now have.. So although i don't like the idea of Wasps ,, nobody can say they haven't stuck to an agreement they made...
You maybe right,, but what other option did the CCC have
Hold onto it and let it tick over like they said it was.

Perhaps it wasn't ticking over Nick, perhaps they lied to everyone including us. Hush my mouth.
Top postThe sale shouldn't have been conducted behind closed doors in a "let's meet in the toilet, fourth cubicle along at Leicester Forest East Services" kind of way. The sale should have been open to other bidders in an open and honest way. Christ, usually Councils have to put everything out to tender.
Exactly. SISU won't be here forever and neither may CCFC as a consequence. Wasps will be though.
As a ratepayer they didn't

I still don't see what you or anyone will change about what happened,, i have never said i agreed with it, i never said i like the idea of Wasps.. But what i have understood is that nothing i do, say or post about it changes the situation.. And please don't tell me Sport is clean or full of great owners that have always done everything correctly to get what they want or have..

You couldn't change the WMD myth created by Blair and Campbell that dragged us into war. Are you saying there shouldn't have been an enquiry as nothing could alter the outcome?

TRANSLATION: ok i know i am wrong but lets forget that and change subject.
What they say and what they do are very different things, what you believe and hold them too is an individual decision. My decision is a don't believe any party involved in this 100% i do however have an opinion that Sisu have determined the fate of the club.. No good falling out over it that is fact,, if they were decent, open, trusting and honest then deals could of been made. But i suppose you only want one side to be open honest and trusting....

No we'd like both, we got neither.
