"we must reiterate our position on legals"

Does he mean say over and over drop the legals like he keeps doing?

That's how I read it. That there's no actual defence of their actions but just keep shouting 'but SISU' and 'drop the legals'.

That's exactly what they're going to say. It's been their go to response all along, and what they'll continue to say ad nauseam knowing full well there are many who will give them an easy ride, even after all of this.

Its because they think it works and deflects. Its what they have done for years and it has made people run back to sisu.

Where is the response

It's not so much that there has been a response, more that we know fully what that response will be, and these emails have confirmed it.

Also, seems to me Matton is completely out of touch with the issue.

While I feel for genuine fans that would be unable or unwilling to follow the club to a ground share...

...the upside is; We’d lose some proper SISU OUT knobjobs from the fan base

It feels like CCC are losing control of the narrative, and don't quite know how to get it back.
Now "it was sisu" doesn't work and people can see through people like jhw it seems a bit desperate.

If only there had been pressure on all sides years ago like people asked for but were told they were sisu apologists.

I don't think duggins did himself any favours gloating about public opinion on his side after he lied about that "condition"

The way it looks is that people had gone all in about the accounts not being able to be filed because wasps wouldn't do a deal.

The next hope was then trying to block a ground share and hope that nobody would allow the club to play there.

Then it was Hoffman would announce his bid and with no accounts filled and nowhere to play at all then sisu would have to sell the club.

It now turns out that 5 clubs in the Midlands are willing to ground share so it gives options if it comes to it.

When I said months ago that certain parties would be very naive to go into this head first in case it backfired like Haskell did, I got told it was all in the imagination.

How is that looking now?

What if Duggins is the mole? What if this is like when an MP leaves a briefcase on a train 'accidentally' so information gets out?
Imagine that, he pulls off the mask to be Dermot Coleman like it's scooby do. Nobody has ever heard off him or seen him while he infiltrates the council

Unless I've missed it, still no direct response from the Trust itself. They've really missed an opportunity to attempt to change people's perceptions of them so far.

Seems he wasn't intelligent enough to keep his mouth shut and just keep to the same vague story everyone else was reciting. Instead he was firing off shots and bringing up specific things which dropped the council in it.

As soon as he mentioned specific points SISU were all lined up ready to fire back at him with specific points. As is now very clear the council have no response.

It appears that, despite the warnings, they backed the wrong horse in fucking spectacular fashion. There’s no way forward for them without doing a 180 first. Alternatively they could just ....

The (un)trust will just drop out the usual about "all parties must work together to resolve this situation" followed by the picture of 4 to go before homeless. Not a word will be said that may question the coucils part in this. Then all the usual people will be fuming with SISU saying "all they have to do is drop the legals" and it is their fault we are in this situation! Nothing to do with the fact that Wasps are refusing to do a deal (having been leant on by the council... and backed by cov tel and the trust!) with the football club that we all love and should be backing to get through this!! Come on folks! Support CCFC.... our club!!

You'll have to take my ramblings with a pinch of salt as I'm currently on a train from Bangkok to Surat Thani which has involed two bottles of whiskey.

However I would make the logical statement that the trust are no longer fit for purpose. During this time in our lives where it feels like war, I feel that it's time that maybe a splinter cell was broken off.

How realistic would it be for us to start our own new trust? Those current fuckers don't represent me one bit.

Council, Wasps, and slade apologists.

Is it just the two emails on Reid's Twitter (I can't currently open Twitter properly)? I wonder how long he's been getting copies of emails. It seems the gloves are off now, maybe we're reaching the end game.

Is Maton suggesting in his email that there is no site that SISU have enquired about?

Wtf you on about?
Retweeting stuff like that without making it clear that the original tweeter is a total twat. I think battle lines are now drawn and people need to show whose side they are on, our clubs immediate future is at stake.

If you weren’t supporting the original tweets then you aren’t necessarily a total twat after all.

The original post was from a Sunderland fan - hence the wording. RT is often done to make people aware, it’s common practice on Twitter.

I never actually said anything LOL

P.s I’m not a twat AT ALL - fuck me some of the assumptions people make on here without even knowing or reading the circumstances is hilarious.

I know! Believe it or not some people just blame SISU and let CCC off Scott free. Mad, eh?
