SISU pocket all the money brigade (2 Viewers)

Yep, we still have some fans who keep spouting this at every chance they get. In the past two days from our own fans and other teams fans, I have seen us being called mugs, fickle, SISU lovers e.c.t.

Isn't it about time this myth is put to bed?

It really doesn't take that long to research where our money goes, most of us know this, but the few that don't will keep regurgitating the same shit at any chance they get.

It's been 2 years since I put my hatred for SISU on the back burner, is it really that hard for people to do?

Apart from the stupidly wealthy owners, all others are in it to make money, part of the modern game now, even Hoffman etc are not doing it for just the love of the club.

Quite. Most, if not all, owners have their own agendas. Granted, ours have been especially aggressive/ruthless in their dealings but they will eventually be replaced by another set of people with similar targets.

We have to accept the way Sisu have acted they will have burnt unrepairable bridges with some fans. I think that’s fair personally. We have been through an awful lot these last 6 years.

Now me personally have never been anti Sisu per se. I couldn’t go to Northampton as I thought it was plain wrong but I always said if we play in Coventry where ever I will support the team.

Things do seem to have changed and you can’t replace the feeling of a promotion that we haven’t had for 50 odd years so we have momentum also now.

I say we have another year at the Ricoh and league 1 is very similar to league 2 and no reason especially with good summer recruitment we can’t have another good season with no ceiling. If shrewsbury can get 3rd then so can we in my book.

I trust Mark Robins just like I have all season even when we weren’t doing so well. Just hope he gets at least some backing.

It's clear from the accounts that they are not directly taking cash out of the club. I do believe however that there are reasons that they hang onto CCFC and not just so they can pursue court action . SISU are not here for the love or promotion of the football club and I would prefer owners that were but they are not easy to find it seems.

we have showed everyone we are a big club again , will be prospective owners looking at us more now than ever, get into championship and someone will take a punt on us i think

Had one guy say we're an embarrassment for celebrating being promoted to League One.
He's obviously living in the past, like quite a few others. They just won't accept that like it or not, we were(!) a League 2 club, not a Premier League club. The reasons for that are immaterial at the moment. We have every right to celebrate promotion to League 1 and be proud of the team.

At the end of the day they have given us what we want. Promotion.
But they have upset a lot of people that can help us and continue to do so.
Continued success in D1 will see them disappear further into the background but if I was them I would get rid of Fisher who will never ever be accepted here.

They haven't given us that.

Can they get rid of Fisher? They have moved him around and given others day to day responsibilities, but he's still here.

I can't help feeling that he has some involvement that is more than a contracted employee or company. Perhaps he has a financial interest.

I hate sisu but love ccfc
Therefore I dont let them upset my love for the club - I either live with it - or move on - Can;t understand the people who let it eat into their lives
yes if there is a specific protest eg the northampton marches, however on a day to day basis - get a life

SISU played no part in our promotion, but they played major parts in both of our relegation's and administrations. Let's never credit SISU again for giving us what we want, because that' s just bollocks mate.

Mark Robins, his staff and players only deserve credit.

The bonding of the team management, players and supporters is lovely to see. That is results driven. We do have something positive going on but we all know that a poor start will end that and negativity will be front and center again.
We need to focus on the progress made and let the owners stay in the margins.
The owners should be able to see that they could be owning something worth selling in the near future.
I hope so because that would mean we keep progressing.

Of course they played a part be it only keeping us ticking over.
Don’t forget they did put money in rather than pull the plug.
They also don’t call in their interest on the loan.
But it’s not enough to keep us in existence you need someone who wants to invest properly in the club and build bridges with all they have upset.
Your right in Mark Robins and the players also though. .
IMHO they have over achieved with the resources SISU have given them.

I have never said sisu pocket all the money but through arvo and other bits they do control the spending

I often wonder where we'd be now had we gone for Robins over the useless Thorn, but they'd have been an almighty backlash at the time had they gone for the actual football manager.
