Because they sold those rights for £6m. They sold their entitlement. Yet they should get it back for free?
No it makes me realistic not idealistic or just plain stupid.
"They"? I think you mean "we".
It's not silly to say that SISU's future is tied to that of the club. There is nobody else out there willing to put the money in-if there were I'm sure they would be begging them to do so. If SISU go the club folds-it really is that simple.

He must be one of those hoping for the ACL F.C re-branding.
If I was part of the delusional anti-sisu I would be calling him out as a plant by ACL.
I may have my facts mixed up, I was referring to this
www.skybluestalk.co.uk/threads/26855-We-have-to-pay-acl-£24m-for-revenue-rights
Your own quote above, does this or does this not say the 24 million figure was proposed to Fisher for the revenue rights and was dismissed instantly. These are the same ones that we sold for 6 million?
I fail to see where I have ranted, if I have got something wrong or mixed up then I apologise
On behalf of the Sky Blue Trust have just spoken to a Director of ACL who has said that this figure of £24 million is completely erroneous. There have not been discussions for the total revenue rights at all and he is mystified where this number has been created from. The profits from the food and beverages on match days is being offered to the club for free, worth about £100k and if the club wishes to reflect the revenue or sales (around £1m) for salary cap reasons then that could be arranged. Also we were told that if the club wishes to negotiate on individual revenue streams such as car parking etc then ACL would be willing to do so but up till now these have not been mentioned.
Just to clear up all the nonsense that is being spouted about rent etc the highlights of the deal being offered are rent is £400 K including match day costs, then club would receive the ACL profits from match day catering, around £100k and a rate rebate of £150 k and this is how the total of £150,000 per season has been arrived at.
worrying news
Which is why I find the anti-SISU vehemence so baffling. If people want SISU to go then the Club needs to be attractive to other investors and at the moment it's not.
They could've helped in a more effective way, and why, when it was obvious we couldn't afford the new stadium, we carried on with these plans?
Didn't the council want the stadium just as much as the club? They had ulterior motives I think.
but havnt SISU done there best to make the club less atractive by basically hacking it to bits and cutting to quickly and getting us relegated?
if we were in the championship we would be a much more attractive for other investors but the reason we are where we are is because of SISU, we could all see what was going to happen last season the way the spine of the team was sold off and not replaced, even waggot said not keeping king got us relegated and that is the reason that a bad finacial position was made even worse.
The rent is to much and a offer has been made to reduce it, should we have the revenue from the food and drink ? yes, should we get it back for free no ! we got relegated and lost so much money through relegation and the blame for that is SISU's. They are now paying the price for employing morons on the board who were there to do a hatchet job on the team and the day to day running costs, and all it has done is cost us even more :facepalm:
SISU are to blame for making a very bad situation even worse and yes the council and ACL have not helped and are to blame for some of the mess, but atleast they have made a very good offer to reduce the rent. But SISU saying they want the food and drink for nothing after selling it for 6 million is imho a bridge to far, if they want it they should buy the rights back.

If you'd read the thread through a bit you'd have found out the headline statement on that thread was bolloux, later on Jan posted...
Sure, SISU fecked up and got us relegated, but so did a previous regime. Funny, I don't remember so much anger towards those at the time.

Funny. I was barely a teenager at the time, but I remember the whole West Terrace holding up posters calling for Richardson and Robinson to go. Even the bloke doing the halftime penalty competition had one.

Remember that (not when you were a teenager btw!) "Sack the board...." was sang more than The Sky Blue song...far more vociferous protests in the ground than SISU have had to put up with. Funny how people forget these things though....
It happened once after a defeat against Grimsby. Two seasons prior to that Richardson actually had votes received in the player of the season award.
There was certainly no such angst aimed at fletcher Elliot and co yet the debt mountain they accumulated was far worse and that with crowds exceeding 20,000. Also there was outrage at playing Leon best when we had not paid him, not paying the revenue and not paying other local creditors.
Not paying the Best fee got us an embargo under Dowie if I recall-and it was the Cassidy brothers who helped stump up the cash for him, Borrowdale, or both. Operation Premiership broke our ability to compete financially in the Championship-utter debacle.
Really what year was that then?
It was a shambles. Players like ward and Doyle earning huge wages and a squad which had well over 30 senior pros.
They agree the stupid rent arrangement which meant 22,000 full paying adults were needed every week. Yet if Elliot came back tomorrow most in here would be happy.
