SISU say they may "get out of town" next week (1 Viewer)

It's all spin. Why give the new manager a 3 and a half year contract if they intend to liquidate us if ACL don't give into their demands? It doesn't make sense. Then again this is SISU, nothing they do seems to make much sense!

Not saying it is going to happen, but wouldn't the worst situation imaginable be one of us getting into the play-offs after so many years in the doldrums, only to have 10 points taken off us to send us back down into midtable!

But is Tim prepared to pick up the phone to ACL and ask for negotiations. Or will it be like last time when he spouted all this then said they have my number.

I can't help but think, although painful in the short term, in the long term for a one club city with the ability to pull in 30k supporters (with a hint of success) and the potential to own a fantastic stadium, admin could lead to the light at the end of the tunnel.

If Sisu are arguing about pie revenue do you think they would pull the plug on 30 million + they have invested for their clients?

SISU won't go until they see a profit.

They are still arguing about pie revenue! In fact they have a chart.

The matchday revenue is a side issue. It's not worth millions. We will still be loss making if we receive 100% of it. Fisher will still get his £300k pa.

...it's all just a cunning plan. <img src="http://www.skybluestalk.co.uk/images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif" border="0" alt="" title="" smilieid="4" class="inlineimg" />

Even by Baldricks standards there's been some real crackers coming out of the club lately.

Pressley wasn't a midfielder for us, silly writer. He wasn't really a defender for us either, mind you.

Yet some will back him and and justify the club going under for £100,000 due to the big bad ACL

Good job its more rubbish spouted from fisher

The story doesn't say that they are going to liquidate the club. It says they might "get out of town" - i.e. play elsewhere next year.

Is there a date that you must go into admin by in order for the points deduction to take effect in the same season? At what point does it become worse like 15 points or does that depend upon the so called crime!

The article is weak.

I hope the football league keeps tabs on these nutters. Get out of town.....My arse. Fisher is a nob. Why should the article attribute the Get out of town comment to ACL's refusal to movev any more.

Coventry or nothing.

Nobody has said it is worth millions, and the club is not currently loss making if you take the rent out of the equation. The club is almost on an even keel and has roughly broken even this season up until recent events.

Accessing those revenue streams would help, and at least make the club viable as an on-going concern and also more attractive to any potential buyers or investors as we would then effectively have a club with no external creditors that was not losing money, which is not a particularly bad place to be in.

Oh, but I forgot, people don't want to take the sensible route out, they'd rather the club disappeared and started afresh is the EvoStick Load of Old Shite One Man and His Dog Northern League Division 2.

With or without the rent, the club is still loss making.
