Well we are gradually improving under him, and the results show that.

*You're* fucking deranged if you think the modest funding Coleman received would be anything like enough to get us promoted.

We weren't gradually improving under him at all.

Season before Coleman 56 points.

First Coleman season: 53 points

Second Coleman season: 54 points

Last Coleman season: 54 points.

Where is the improvement there?

The same place as Marlon King's England caps?

But it isn't, so get back to the 'real world', football is performance based occupation, whether you're a player or manager, you don't get results, you get sacked and Coleman, Thorn definitely deserved the sack, in fact, the MR revival is a vindication of this decision, yet you still, genuinely think we should not have sacked Thorn, and you're telling me to get back to 'real world'?

Agreed, but why is 11 months thought to be a suitable timeframe for judging success and failure. It's a blink of an eye.

There's far too much emphasis on "success now now now" - real long lasting success takes years and years to build up, you'll never get that chopping your manager every year.

1) Look at the league positions and performance over the course of the seasons (except last 10 games in last season where we nosedived)

2) what the fuck ...why do i keep getting stick about King? He could play for England! He isn't Jamaican!

Lads the sad thing here is that you all are arguing over the rights and wrongs of both sides and you all have an opinion and you are all right. But rememebr what exactly is happening here two parties are failing to agree a fee of money and are doing everything in there power to make the other look wrong. But who really is suffering THE FANS !! its not about winning its about us as fans and local citizens getting these two parties to see sense and workout a way of resolving this pathetic show of who has got the best set of balls. Remember the national press are having a great laugh at this its jsut back to the old days of coventry a city running itself into the ground and really having no idea whats is going wrong.

We nose-dived the last 10 games in every season with him.

Maybe we could ask the league to finish it when we look best placed?

After the first three games used to be traditionally the best time for us.

Love the bit in brackets. That was one if the worst runs in our history but yeah let's forget about the lets forget the money blown on Eastwood and wood lets forget that we pay theist rent outside of the premier league lets forget king is a Jamaican national lets forget thorn was compared to jimmy hill.

If I was you of forget today ever happened.

Well each of his finishes was better than the last...given two more years we could have been serious promotion contenders.

I'd forget that you're a twat, but that's impossible when you write posts like this. I stand by everything I write 100% - can you genuinely say that? All that crap about us being entitled to buy the ground for free, effective a free gift of millions of pounds, that doesn't sound stupid to you?

Fact is, were were gradually improving under Coleman, despite some rough spells. Teams go through lean spells, it's a fact of life. There was no need to sack him.

I've got to give it you, you had me fooled.

Bravo! On a par with the old Mainstandnoe1 wind-up.

Wondered where you'd been for so long Hackney.

It bothers me why I and many other fans get attacked for being disloyal to CCFC, just because we are opposed to SISU and their brazenly hardball tactics to rape some not for profit organisations who have stepped in to save the club in the past.

Thankfully the direction of opinion in the fanbase is clearly moving away from SISU on this one

CJ These are the same cretins who were calling anyone who thought the managers under perform or don't go to every single game as traitors!

Its a sad fact that in any club you are going to have brain dead tossers like this. Thankfully it appears council have called their bluff and all they can do now is accuse ACL of using the tactics SiSU seem all too happy to use for years.

Only when SiSU fuck off can the healing begin. They have achieved an almost impossible thing. take a club on the brink of admin, and put them in a WORSE position! It is messy, and may take years to clean up, but sooner or later SiSU will realise they will never be allowed to use the Ricoh as a sinkhole for bad debts, and will move on to suck the life out of some other company.

SiSU make Wonga look like a benevolent not-for-profit company!

CJParker,
Well done for keeping going against the curse of irrationality tonight.
Classic pack behaviour: surround, confuse with obscure questions, take minor points out of context and ignore the major points, keep obscuring the issues with irrelevant comparisons, refer back to an alleged remark or opinion and best of all, belittle and ridicule.
You're wasting your time reasoning with the unreasonable.

Sits back and awaits sarcasm, the last bastion of the scoundrel, after patriotism.

Nothing is more irrational than stating that Coleman was a good manager who improved us season upon season.

Yes, perhaps, but you see that was not his main point at all. As soon as he said it the pack smelt blood and bayed and barked.
His main point was then ignored under a tide of ridicule. It is classic in it's simplicity and leads to despair.

For teams like Chelsea, yes, but not for CCFC, it's a case of, 'oh shit, we might get relegated with this manager!' Only SISU manager unlucky to get the sack was Hoofroyd, although I still welcome his sacking.

Nothing, not even Thorn, led me to as much despair as Coleman.

Have you never read any of his previous stuff though? He's either very stupid or very intelligent.

Think the latter myself, a classic troll, and fair play to him, it works.

If not a classic troll, and genuinely believes that Coleman is a great manager who improved us every season and that Marlon King should play for England, amongst other things, then he falls into the very stupid category.

I don't know how many times I have to say it but CJ is not a troll, however plausible it seems. Take my word for it and move on.

Are they all like him? You'd get more intelligent conversation in the London Zoo.

Pretty sure sacking Thorn worked out, Norwich sacking Gunn worked out, look at them, Pardew getting sacked from S'hampton worked for them...

BTW, in this 'real world' of yours, a manager's average lifespan is 11 months, Coleman and Thorn were well over that.

It's 18 months.......
