Shelf full of Goosebumps books too. One day
Watched Series 1 when it came out and loved it. Saw about 3 episodes of series 2, couldn't follow it with all the new characters. Too confusing, gave up and haven't seen it since. Chap at work wants to give it a whirl, so might see if I can borrow someone's collection and see if we can get into it during dinner break.I loved the first couple of series but in the middle series it seemed to tone down the debauchery and settle into a format of flitting between houses to inch along their stories in order to set up a big season finale boom and that got very predictable for me. Too many characters meant I never felt emotionally invested in individuals and feeling like I was starved of character development outside of the main 4 or 5.

The best swearing ever is in a Father Ted episode. It's the one about the best sheep competition, and when Father Ted reveals on stage a scooby doo style plot by one of the farmers you hear a; 'fuckin' 'ell' to break the tension. Genius. It has to be timed and used properly though. A well timed C bomb in game of thrones is genius.
The:
"there's no cure for being a c**t"
stands out!
The only thing more popular than GoT is telling people you've never seen GoT
Couldn't have lasted very long in the job then. Didn't you have any work to do? How on earth did you get away with it?TBF this was me when S6 started and I'd just started a new job where everyone in the office was obsessed by it. I did all five seasons in about a week.
You see, I particularly hate the C word. Makes me shudder every time I hear it. Hate that more than anything.

SNP...Yeah, true. Would say it is quite different to Lord of the Rings and only occasionally turns to fantasy and dragons and giants.
If it's a political thriller though, are the White Walkers UKIP or the EDL?
