He’s done a 5 year premier league plan, can you seriously see him here for 5 years? He's already said he'll improve the experience and given details of the prices over the next 2 or 3 years.
Were they not considerably less than that last season? If, and its obviously a huge if, he gets people to renew at an increased price while feeling they've got some sort of victory and a bargain price I'm not entirely sure you could say it was terrible business!Fully backtracked apparently
20k including Vat so whats that 17k when people claim that back through company?

Agreed. No idea, I'm yet to form an opinion on him.
Just judging him on one thing at time at he moment.

Bring back Operation Premiership. Back in the day when they used to send you stuff in the post to get you to renew your season ticket I remember one year there was a promise we'd be challenging for a place in EuropeSisu had a 5 year plan to start

Not at all.Hes said they won't get the new price so if they kick off he may have to back track again.
Looks like those of us who said he should have done it incrementally were right.
Not at all.
If you are going to really shift price do it from a position of strength and ideally do it once.
position of strength: highest finish in 20 years. Likely material player income to fund positive transfer window.
Do it once: no one likes 3-4 years of big increases. That alienates people too.
you can of course but what happens if we have a poor season ? Harder to push price again next summer.
King might not get his £24k for the boxes but I suspect he will het 2 to 3 years of price increase through in one go which will still be relative success for him and the club
All the empty cocaine bags....What does that even mean?

Does make me laugh that we've gone from 'King won't talk to the box holders and compromise, he's clueless' to 'King is talking to box holders and offering to compromise, he's clueless'
Can't believe the number of posts we've had about fucking boxes none of us use, the sooner pre-season matches start the better

Touch unfair on Stalin to compare him to SISU thoughStalin did five year plans and hung around for a while...

Precisely what those at the club were advising to do a stepped process not a large increase in one goNot at all.

Actually the opposite of what it’s alleged others wanted to do.Precisely what those at the club were advising to do a stepped process not a large increase in one go

Pricing in steps or incrementally ONLY works if you are broadly at the market rate or just below …. If you are miles below the rate and let’s face it £9k for a box is less than 50% of the market rate, you can’t go up in increments because you never get to the market rate as the other clubs are also increasing price each year … you do narrow the gap after 4-5 years but you are structurally disadvantaging your own club financially
Guess King would have been removed under Stalin, too.Touch unfair on Stalin to compare him to SISU though

By testing it.How do you determine the market rate?

Nevertheless Blues surely aren’t going to sell him on the cheap if he’s got a bitI think the lad wanted to partner back up with the coach - Dodds, brother and family really felt like he developed Jude according to a few Blues fans
Nearly had another one last month before a last gasp licence dealThat one of our many ground moves?

Well you don’t really do you. So if this price was rejected what then? He lowers it more?
The market rate of course he’s looking at is corporate business packages but now is having to go back to existing clients to try and persuade to purchase.
Now he says he’s going to work with Frasers to improve the offering. Er that’s something he should have checked first isn’t it? That his price comparison isn’t comparable?
A lot of people seem relaxed as “we are not in a corporate box” - I’d exercise caution here. He wants clearly to price and has little understanding of how to do it. He will be looking at annual RPI prices for everyone every season. I guarantee it.
He did check our offering first. He openly talked about that on his BBC CWR interview …. Do people just ignore the facts to support their position.Well you don’t really do you. So if this price was rejected what then? He lowers it more?

So 550% increase x 2 for my grandkids and another 9% to look forward to next season, can’t waitHe did check our offering first. He openly talked about that on his BBC CWR interview …. Do people just ignore the facts to support their position.
Of course there will be annual increases in season ticket prices …. We have inflation at nearly 9% !
Behave the kids prices were ridiculously low, and to add insult to injury people were then giving them to adults to come in knowing they were not being checked. So 550% increase x 2 for my grandkids and another 9% to look forward to next season, can’t wait
