If it doesn't involve boycotting games, I'm in!! Hope we both get more than a 10 second mention on the news

Good to see some Charlton fans signing the CovTel petition as well. A combined protest will hopefully make a significant wave in the national press so both clubs get their plights recognised by the mass media, rather than by individual journos filling a square inch.

Be careful what you wish for after all there is currently no alternative to having a game each week you can attend and say you watched your beloved Sky Blues.

The way some carry on, on this forum, liquidation would be welcomed.
Unbelievable, I know.

The likes of "captain" dart and Dim Tim hate ccfc so much they'd spontaneously ejuculate if this club ceased to exist. Party time all round.

Interesting to see those who shout liquidation and when they last supported the team at a game.

I've never seen some of the hard-core people like last, bhsb etc demanding liquidation and killing the club.

I'd guess it's people who aren't bothered any way and want a new bandwagon

Yes the liquidation thing is bollocks. If people want to start again, why do they even care about sisu, as surely they'd be irrelevant to a new startup club. Just get on with your little startup team playing Kidsgrove Athletic and similar non league giants. Or support Cov United.

For everyone else, the prosoect of folding is terrible and to be avoided which is why we want the fuckers out.

Yes a good shout to show the FA and the league that we as fans of different teams are United, we need to get others on board so that they have to take notice and do proper checks on owners.
If that means taking the golden shares of dodgy owners so be it.
They need to get their act together and listen to the ones they serve........
THE FANS.

I feel that is what they will try and do, hopefully we can get an owner who cares.
Don't need to be minted just do enough to keep us going.
Hopefully the fans will then return and then we can see some success.

Not for me much more excited to cheer on the boys and have a good crack in the pub beforehand......any protest would dampen spirits, invariably cause in fighting amongst ourselves and affect the team in a negative way ....for that reason I'm out!

If you want to do it, do it tomorrow at the check a trade game....all the best!

You won't be able to have a good crack in the pub beforehand for much longer by the way things are going. Can the spirits get any damper. We are 2nd bottom on goal difference. Some people seem to be happy just to watch their club crumble before their very eyes

The current owners are doing just enough to keep us going? fans will not return with a change of owner or for that matter a change of manager except a blip for the first week. results are the only factor in that game.

Liquidation is not the answer and I don't want it to be. It is scaremongering and their hatred of sisu is so deep it will come at all costs. As posters have said you have Cov United if you want an alternative. Not for me I'm a cov city fan and always will be as long as we are not liquidated ;)

nobody wants liquidation, which could be construed as a devisive measure,
though there a too many who would gloat & say i told you so,
that is not the answer,
imho, too many have swallowed the poisoned mantra of this apparently failing hedge fund,
who have proved ZERO in their time in charge of a proud and fabulous club,
the majority of real CCFC fans imho, grieve at the way we are being punished,
ffs GIVE US BACK OUR CLUB

Nobody has asked you to join in it is your choice.
As for in fighting we are doing that anyway.

If you wish to join in the march please come to the Antigallican Pub 428 Woolwich Rd, London SE7 8SU - 100m from train station for 2pm. We will then meet up with the Charlton fans at the Liberal Club (200m away) and march together to the Valley at 2.15pm. There will be placards provided representing both Fight Like Jimmy Hill and CARD demanding SISU go and Roland Duchatelet go - need numbers so come along and join in! Its going to be fun - spread the message please

Charlton fan here. Just dropping by to pass on some background info.
We're expecting a solid turn out for the protests on Saturday. Thousands are boycotting but turning up for this fixture though many of those will not pay to enter the ground.
We got organised last year and have good energy and a protest fund. Some want to go further quicker but most realise this could be a long slog.
We have had a lot of the old arguments like 'why bother?, 'why protest?', etc, to be expected and par for the course, but we try to put our differences aside to focus on a brighter future. Hence the Coalition Against Roland Duchatelet and joint working with fans of other clubs and football fans generally. Some have gone to Belgium to get in the face of the owner, and some are more militant than others.

Posting this in an individual capacity but would be useful to get your views and join the discussions at charltonlife.com.
Hope to see lots of you down there on Saturday. Safe trip. Del.
