I sat with my two lads tonight talking about the city and we deceided that in previous years we have at the mid-july/start august time been mega optimistic about the coming season. This year we are very pesermistic, despite renewing our season tickets. In the past our optimism has lead to disappointment; so will our lack of "sky blue glasses" this year mean we will have unexpected success.ointlaugh:

covey, it'll feel better when the season actually starts. We'll have 11 players, just like the other guys. At least one or two of the kids will step up. Deegan and Turner will be like new players. McPake too (at least til he gets crocked again). August will see Premier League loanees available as clubs have to name their 25 man squads. The takeover may happen. There is, allegedly, a board meeting about it today. The lack of incoming players obviously indicates some stalling, no denying that. But I'm sure things will get resolved. Gary Hoffman and Joe Elliott are very visible at the moment, hang on.

Covey1987 do not worry my friend all will be well, and at Christmas we will be in a very healthy place with new owners and the stadium back in the control of the club.
Concerning players i feel what we have will do much better than we and others think, and Thorny will bring in just a couple of more experienced players to help the youngsters along.
I am more confident than ever that very soon our beloved club will turn the corner once and for all,and at last a very bright future will appear.
Mark my words by Christmas we will be a totally different football club,one with hope and ambition and led by the best manager we've had since Sillet and Curtis, and fully backed by a board of directers full of skyblue blood like us.

Tbh I only ever hear Coventry fan's being negative about everything! So maybe now we are wearing the Sky Blue Specs(i.e. negativity) - we will be victorious! :guitar2: *rides off into the distance*
