I've changed my mind, watching the video with MR it looks alright. Didn't realise it had an upstairs and downstairs.

Small thing.

The Tommy Hutchison booth. They haven’t spelled his name correctly.
Could do with rectifying asap tbh being a legend an all that.

Went in last night and was impressed with the layout, didn't go upstairs as some work was being completed, but....
No real ales on draught unfortunately and you'd have thought being a Brewery of mainly ales, they'd have got that in, however, the manager did say they were not finished with the beer line up. Here's hoping!

Hoping they get WiFi in the joint too.

What's the Anecdote like for a beer before the game? Silly wait times?
If you're not fussed about price v quality and you don't mind waiting to be served then it's just somewhere to get a drink before going into the ground. Don't get too excited.

as mentioned by others, it’s a good place to meet before the game and at HT, especially in the Winter months, although they’ve recently changed the beers again and not for the better.

Queued for over 10 minutes to get in today at 1:30ish which I’ve not had to do previously (1 in, 1 out basis).

The mega screen they have is temperamental and often loses connectivity for a few seconds.

Prefer Dhillons after the game when we win for a sing song, or Lady G’s in the Casino if there’s a decent speaker on, talking to Billy Bell.

Infinitely better wait times (and beer) than Dhillons. Never had to wait too long in there tbh.

Used to be, not anymore. Dhillons is much better.

Went in The Mill Bar instead. No queue for service. Found a table within ten minutes too. Perfect.

Had to actually pass through the turnstiles to get to it though now.

Is this the small one in by the exec area? Access from the concourse with about 6 tvs?

I waited 25 minutes for a beer at about 1.45ish yesterday. Not sure how bad it used to be, but was pretty tragic yesterday

Didn't go yesterday but have been most games this season. If you're happy with a Madri, the outdoor bar usually serves within 5 minutes or so.

Wait a lot longer in the Anecdote and the price is about the same.

Yes. Used to access it from inside the atrium area but yesterday they were using it as a concourse bar. So go in through turnstiles and walk round. Small entrance.

And yes they have loads of TVs showing the live games. Decent little bar and no wait for service.

I’ve been to three or four games this season and me and my lad go in there every time. It’s a nice warm little bar with a clean toilet. Great place to go and watch the early kickoff while soaking in some atmosphere. I was disappointed they didn’t have the prem game on yesterday though.

I stick to the Foleshill Gas club. 3 pound 40 for a Coors light and it takes you a minute or so to get served. Leave at quarter to three and see the kick off. Result.

What's the cheapest pint within a mile radius of the ground? Last time I went Cherry Tree it was about £2.80. Must be a lot more now?
