Think it’s been used for informing the conversation with fsa and the evidence given to the mp. Don’t get me wrong I’m not making excuses for them.
Like most of us we have full time jobs and limited time to do what we want to do. I’m not surprised people are frustrated having tried before but something needs to change if anything does come out of Parliament to radically change how football is run
The members of the Sky Blue Trust have no faith in the current board members which makes it redundant.
You say that but media don’t agreeThe members of the Sky Blue Trust have no faith in the current board members which makes it redundant.
Yep no one elected last night and board spaces still unfilledAnd yet they keep getting elected.
This is all a bit “the Tories got less than 50% so aren’t legitimate”.
You say that but media don’t agree
You say that but the fsa don’t agree
You say that but if governance changes and places key responsibilities on trusts then the government won’t agree
To some extent I agree though
Back in the day, when 25% of our shares were owned by fans... if you limited ownership to 25% max each individual, then at least fans would have a say, but major shareholders could collect together to drive things through if they really wanted. I don't think you'll ever get perfect, you just need to keep owners on their toes, and ensure they're as transparant as possible. My personal choice for fan representation would be some kind of membership with the club and a free vote on key issues (badge/name/etc). I don’t think you need the full on hierarchy of a talking shop, you just need a way to poll the fans en masse.
And yet they keep getting elected.

Agreed. I mean this is what I mentioned earlier, a membership scheme. You’re sent out a prospectus detailing the pros and cons of a key decision relating to Club culture and then send in a vote, the platform would be better than rocking up to the Albany club with 10 people. My personal choice for fan representation would be some kind of membership with the club and a free vote on key issues (badge/name/etc). Something like the Trust where you pay a nominal fee and register, not sure how you’d stop opposing fans signing up en masse for the LOLs, but that would apply to anything and I doubt in reality it would be an issue.
Ideally there’d be some non profit that’s democratic and administers everything for the club and maybe owns the IP and grants the owners use of it like Chelsea have. But then you very quickly get back to a trust type situation. As soon as there’s meetings to attend it’ll be run by those with the most time.
How many votes were made and how many were aware there was voting going on? Just by reading this thread communication is not a strong point
Again. This is like whining that someone got elected on a low turnout. In a democracy if low turnout helps your opponent your job is to get the vote out. Whining about it won’t change anything.
What I am saying is were members notified that an “election” was taking place so they could cast their vote? Or was it left to the 20 or so people who attend meetings?
Problem is their mailing list isn’t great, I signed up at the Colly in 2013… no such emails receivedIf they weren’t that would be a breach of the constitution. I’m not even a member but I got the following emails:

I’d imagine everyone on their mailing list got the same.

Which in itself is a massive data breach, didn’t make that one known did they. Like I’ve never called them a shadowy organisation. Just that they ridicule opposing decisions, and generally have people who have ridiculously high opinions of themselves.I mean clearly not as I quit the Trust ages ago and still get emails. I know they’ve changed systems a few times. But we’ve very quickly gone from “it’s a shadowy organisation that doesn’t tell everyone about meetings so they can maintain their iron grip” to “I gave them my email in a club and they lost it”
Better to focus on the future don’t you thinkPete, can you ask who it was from the FSA that came out (when it was supporter's direct) to help plan to "Doorstep" people with the Council's PR Company?
Nobody seems to answer
I did and I meant it. Is he a fan of ccfc? What’s his link? He spoke well to be fairYou said Sky Blue Trust.

Good luck with that.

I hope my milkman's a City fan...Right, I've re-subscribed via their website. Confirmation on their website, but not via email... which suggests I can sign any bugger up I like for their newsletter...
Who Mr Ellis? This is him

ultimately the argument on this thread stems from them potentially silly powers when realistically they don’t know who the members are or if they still have the data
You always have a dog about naivety. I know what I know and try to find out what I don’tAre you just being naive now? It sounds like you are saying he is nothing to do with the Trust when you don't know about it?
Do you really think it’s useful to hold grudges? I’m pretty sure Grace and Justin deserve a bit of good willGood luck with that.
