But ACL can not just be concerned with the football club legally because they own much more than a football pitch and have to do what is best for the whole group or could end up in court themselves.

This is true for AcL & ourselves as fans...it's a little bit like being mugged...kidnapped even, & then told "we're now going to rip your heart out...but first we'll rip out your kidneys & liver". They've ripped out our hearts, we're on life support...but without the kidneys & liver - even on life support -we cease to function.
