I'm not a fan of the ex player route but nearly everyone's played for us at some point recruitment be hard not to have ex players in our current climate.
A few players there mixed age range, all have goals in them.
Sarcevic is a set piece man too, we need a man who can cross a decent ball

Decent crosser was what I had in mind with Carey, 12 assists from the left wing. With Beavon and K.Thomas in the middle on the end of his crosses (or somebody similar) we'd surely get goals.

Yes he had a good season last year too, I'm more in the thinking that Plymouth will be in league one next year so it's unlikely he will not be offered new better terms.
Sarcevic only joined them in January from Shrewsbury so maybe just maybe consider us.

Yes he had a good season last year too, I'm more in the thinking that Plymouth will be in league one next year so it's unlikely he will not be offered new better terms.
Sarcevic only joined them in January from Shrewsbury so maybe just maybe consider us.

Possible as he's plenty more miles in the tank, would he want to relocate himself and his family tho, a lot comes down to that. Plus I'm sure there would be mixed views on should we move for him given his past.
I was more looking at Joe Murphy if the wage was right, Leyton Orients Bobby Oljejnik or Dean Brill. Two players who know the league, and plenty of games under the belt.
